You ever just go to the hall just to sit down eat and watch the action. Dam at TableStakes in CO they have some of the best food. We have that little cook that has been in the joint for the half of his life. Sometimes he goes back in for a little while and the place does'nt feel the same. He always takes his time to make the food right. Sometimes he goes back in for a little while and the place does'nt feel the same. The pool hall is the last slow paced place in the world where you can enjoy a meal without being rushed off the table. No wonder it does'nt pick up the sponsership like the NFL...

Mine (G-Cue Billiards, Round Rock, TX) only has a grease bin where you can get fries, cheese sticks, fried mushroom, and chicken strips.... I wished we had a good grill....

:(

Gators billiards in Woodbridge VA is the Best pool hall Ive ever been to when it comes to food. They are a very classy pool hall considered by some to be a resteraunt. Steak, Crab legs- you name it, its good. You can usualy find some action there. If your ever in the area its a good place to check out.

Stix in Calgary has some truely awesome grub. I have often went there simply to eat. They do everything good as well, burgers, chicken wings, pasta, steak sandwiches, salads, ect... it is all top notch.

food

With my limited experience the best pool hall for food would have to be
Danny K's in Orange, Cal. It has been 4 years since the last time I was in America but they had the best food I ever had in a pool hall!

If you ever get to Sacramento you must stop in at the Stonier family owned Jointed Cue. Their famous burgers are a must. People go in to have the burger whether a player or not

Thanks for rubbing it in.... :(

I used to be in the bay area quite a bit, it's been some time since I've been to CA though.

Barry Behrman's Q Masters has pretty good food but the best thing is if you buy lunch you get a free hour of pool.

I've eaten there a few times in Denver. You're absolutely correct, the food is excellent.

pool hall food

airway billiards in dayton ohio has some great food, even our usually snooty food critic from they dayton news paper raves over their food and soups,i think professor grady will confirm this,he's been here many times playing one pocket with steve cook before he passed.

Corner Billiards in NYC has very good food and a full service bar. Best are the gourmet sandwiches (I recommend the ham and swiss) and the pizza. The burgers are okay, when they cook them, the whole hall smells like a steakhouse and basically anyone that is in there starts to get hungry really fast!

They definitely have the best food out of all the places to shoot in Calgary, I went to Mike's Family Billiards one time and decided to order some pizza, it was the worst pizza I've ever tried. I will never set foot in that place again.

Bill,

Their breakfast is awesome too and the prices are excellent. When they have big tournaments, they sell hundreds of the burger baskets!!

Rick, you're right! How could I forget to mention their breakfasts? I used to make sure that I got there early before the tournament started so I could have the breakfast! By the way, do they still have their big spring tournament? I know when I was there it used to draw players from all around. A very tough tournament. Kimmer had a hard time winning it! Is Dave still running the place since his dad died a few years back?

Yes they still have the big open. As a matter of fact, I think they might have a couple of opens a year but I'm not real sure. They definitely have at least one. You're absolutely right about how tough it is. They get players from all over to play in it. Yes Dave is still running it. Nothing much has changed in terms of the operation of the pool hall. Dave re-did the back room and put 4 GC IV's in it. The room came out great.
