Porper lathe part??? What is it???

I received this with some lathe parts I bought and can't figure out what it is or was. Most of the stuff I received was from a porper lathe. Thank you for any help you can provide.

Doesn't look like it.... That thing looks like it's possibly been custom made, or for a different lathe... here's the porper tip shaper.

I would guess a facing attachment for the tailstock of a wood lathe.

I think that is one of the very earliest versions of the facing and ferrule cutting fixture that mounted in the Porper mini lathe tailstock. It was the lathe with the headstock collets instead of chuck that held everything.

That is exactly what It is. It mounted in the tail stock, the little knurled handle, with what looks like a 5/16 joint pin, and spring was used to move the tool in and out for facing. The Brass collet chuck You mention worked similar to a compression fitting. The Radius tool in Sheldon's post was also used on the same lathe, and as far as I know of can still Be purchased with different size mandrels (they just screw off of the radius tool, so I imagine they are interchangeable). I think You can still purchase those on Their site, so I guess they have been used on other model lathes as well.
