There are more tournaments in the US for pros and amatures at this time. I think action matches like the ones shown on TAR should be promoted as underground grudge matches for winner takes all. Like underground fighting. Underground gambling matches where no one knows where the table is but you can watch it on ppv live.
Even with all the tournaments that have been put on in resent months there still remains the cost of getting to them and the rest of the money out-lay by the players to eat, sleep, and entry fees. I no pool has a lot of problems, but one big one is the the US is so big in area and travel costs are steep.
To me pool needs to be set up with teams from 8-12 regions of the US. Players from each region play round robins and then top players from each region have play offs at the end of the season. Johnnyt
