I'm guessing it's a much more normal weight (and obviously length) without the optional extension. Not sure what the extension weigh but I bet it's adding a few oz.

I see, so he's playing with an extension on his regular cue that makes it that long and heavy for the 10-foot table. I wonder if he plays with a regular 58" cue when he's not on a 10-foot table.

He's done both, but he's left the extension on quite a bit even on the smaller table.

He plays with it on pretty much always. He takes it off to shoot jump shots with his full cue. I think he actually started shooting with it on all the time during the 2014 edition of this event. He won and has played with it ever since.
