Post Cataract surgery and missing balls, 18 months later

Looking for opinions on lens tint for playing pool under LED lights with eyeglasses.

Would it be beneficial to have a tint color to help with clarity or eye fatigue?
The yellow seem to increase available light, brighten and clarify against darker backgrounds. Just a thot. Best pair of driving glasses I've ever had. Yellows.

Light gray is always an option or blue. I never found a need to tint my billiard eyeglasses.
I preferred having my billiard eyewear clear so I could see the table and ball colors better.
Fortunately, my cataract surgery turned out fantastic and I haven’t needed glasses since.
Light gray was a recommendation along with orange from another source. I have tried a pale yellow tint in the past and liked it but that was before LED lighting came along.

I am not a fan of the LED lighting that is not diffused. Especially the large rectangular ones. The reflection on the balls of those lights is distracting to me.

I’m going to keep digging around but those two options are

I had yellow in the past and liked it. Gray and orange are recommended. Not a lot of difference between yellow and orange.

More work to do.

Had a few moments just now and found this article which seems very interesting. My search was actually for how eyeglass lenses are tinted and this website came up from that search. I had no idea that such research has been done and find it quite interesting. More to come...

I feel your issue... I have had similar issues...

-Cataract surgery on both eyes, 4 years ago
.... followed up the cataract surgery with lasix to correct astigmatism...

--All was well with the world... 20/20 in both eyes..

2 years later, I developed a detached vitreous in the right eye.. That required a Vitrectomy to correct. During the surgery, the surgeon found 9 small tears of the right retina, and repaired them with laser.

My right eye remained at 20/40, after the detached vitreous/retina repairs.

Now, a Macular Pucker has developed where the retina tears wear repaired. The result is a slight double vision issue that greatly affects my ability to focus on a pool ball sharply... just really hard to get right. I also have some issues while driving, especially at night, due to the blurry/double vision.

I can close one eye and everything is pretty sharp, but you need both to be right to play well.

I can still play pool, but I have confidence issues, due to the vision problems.

I am 72 years old... the eye doctors do not want to repair the macular pucker, which would require another vitrectomy... they say 20/20 left & 20/40 right is best left alone, but the double vision real sux...
