My child has another home

That's my baby! I designed that cue with Skip, I hope you like it, many people fell to to that cue. I sold that to Deacon a few months ago. That was my first custom. It hits so well.;)

It's a great cue. Good choice on the wood used, and of course, the overall execution of the cue is excellent. I am sure you had a hard time parting with it.

Always wanted to go to the Islands

I'm also very jealous that my cue is chillin' in Hawaii while I'm stuck in the Midwest for now.:D I hear the girls outnumber the men there, jeez I guess atleast my baby can enjoy itself there! The Olivewood in it is beautiful. He makes such a good playing cue. Enjoy.

I'm not a huge fan of olivewood, but that cue does look quite nice. I have to say that I sometimes get my Skip out of the case just to look at it...lol.

Does Skip usually have a table at Valley Forge?

Rangerdos001, are those points zebrawood?

No, never, but he normally stops by and his cues are there for buying at other booths.

From what Skip has told me, he usually attends VF as a spectator, not so much as a vendor.

The points in this cue are olivewood, as is the butt section.

Points

The high points and butt sleeve are olivewood, the short points are bloodwood. I am usually not too crazy about olivewood either but the figuring and contrast against the ebony is really striking. And yes, I have just sat around at home looking at it for a few minutes too:p

I suppose that I can post some updated pictures here for those that might not have seen them in my previous thread a while back. Here's some decent pictures of my Skip:

Thanks, Zack. Coming from you, it means a lot.:) I have to admit, when I am up late, with no one around, and on a non-pool night.....I will pull her out of the case and just marvel at her. The cue and case sit right next to my recliner in the living room...Lol....I like to keep her close.:D

Thanks for the compliment ranger! I've got another beauty in the works from Jim White. Look for it in about a year...lol.

Just my simple Skip...but I really like it. The curly maple forearm is incredible, along with how even the points are.

Enjoy!
