I'm a big fan of Joss cues. Especially the more rare and older 68-72 models. If you have one , a rare one or one you you just wouldn't part with, post a pic for the board to see. Any year or style....

Mid-90's Joss

Looks like a mid-90's Joss based on their brochures. Very nice butt, forearm is kind of plain though, mixed birds-eye figuring and quilting...

Lousy cell phone pics...

You should try posting this type thread in the Gallery section. You're more likely to get more responses. But great thread.. I like some of the classic Joss cues!

Here is a Model 17 that I once owned.

I really want to buy another one (see my post in the Wanted/For Sale section).

Joss cues made through the 80's in my opinion ruled. I think if Joss went retro and started re-issueing this old designs they would sell like hotcakes! Oh, and used the Gold-Letter bordering again.

I live and play in the DC area and a lot of the old timers around here have original JOSS cues bought from Danny when he and Bill were making cues in a garage.....and none of them will part with them! LOL.

Weird story. My wife has been after me for a few years that she wanted a mid 80's Joss, with some Red points or veneers. Lo and behold, I saw Jim Jennings (cue guy in the south) at a tourney and he showed me this. Needless to say, it is now my wife's, and he was nice enough to not heist me on the sale. I gotta get it refinished, but it hits pretty good, and looks nice except some obvious dings.

Oh, and I used to have a 69. Was really nice, and hit a ton, but it was a little short for me, lol. In truth, like most players, got broke and ended up selling it. :frown:

Here is an older Joss "Mike Sigel" edition.

Haven't used it for many years.

Any Joss fans interested, I'd part with it but could use a little help as to fair market value.
