If I were running an international sanctioning body, I'd avoid looking into "interesting happenings" in private money matches. A vast vat of worms.
So much hypocrisy. Regardless, Amoroto took the gangster approach and that stuff's pretty hard to explain.
I kinda look at it like this. Matchroom likes to court betting sites as sponsors. They need a squeaky clean reputation when it comes unethical gambling behaviors. So it’s probably very clearly articulated in their player contracts that any alleged misconduct on that front will be handled by the PRA regardless if it’s a WNT sanctioned event or not. Which means if you’re going to be a dirty pool player (and perhaps many are) the biggest sin you can commit is getting caught/outed.
The gangster model only works with a big heavy crew. Sorta like the rest of their world...
Amoroto released a public apology but he should have gotten someone to doublecheck it first.

if a person dumps or is involved in any type to fixing a match. whether its a sanctioned event or just between others. he deserves to be banned, or at least no one in their right mind should have him represent you in any endevour.
