Practice practice practice

My study of the finals is interesting. The digested recaps available on YouTube just don't get some of the best/most telling portions.
Mark Allen"s large eyes and heavy brow makes for a good read on his eye movements.
The shot of his rear hand shows the delicate/sensitive grip at full back. With the potential for extreme power with the simple closure of the fingers.
Zhou is an interesting study as well. Sometimes the camera on them seated is the most revealing.🤷

The dart throw using the bridge, reminds me that the dart technique works for the jump shot as well. 🦘

Zhou grabs the bridge instead of switching hands. Maybe some day 🤷. Inconsequential black missed off the crutch.

I have been here before is a hard attitude to find on your first try.
Coming right after,
BobLilly said:
"It's not the size of the dog in the fight. It's the size of the fight in the dog."
Pretty sure Bob Lilly gets credit for the quote.

In the interview Mark mentioned that the young player had never been there before..... That so hit home to me. As I racked for what would be my final rack down 6-2 going to 7. I thought, " maybe he has never been here before (The Big Show). Just don't give it to him. Make him earn it!"
Probably a little Tin Cup "don't worry about looking bad, you've already done that" thrown in as I sit and wait for his dry break.
It Can Work 🤷😁🤔🤪
The fact that I had never been there before, was conveniently overlooked.😉

That 'Old.... Builder' (over that old C.S.. .)is my choice of title.
Still building after all these years. My reason for selection of Pool as my recreation.
The mother of the world is a good time to go to the bank and get the money.
Never play for more than I can afford to lose, or be cheated out of. Is rule 1 for me to come back to.
Feeling good is job 1.
The morning fitness is best at the pool table.
The luxury of a Personal space/shop
Allow for my Goofball version of the Tai Chi.
While perfection of my game Seems nearer. Either way it's Fun Day 🎉

The Thunder From Down Under. Is the flavor of the day. Down Under the baseball cap. The cap is a power tool 😉 My bump cap should be here tomorrow. $12 🤷
The Slow Kiss with the cap restriction of view to.. complete cue ball only. Like bringing a power tool to the romance.🤷🎉

Lefty dominate round , 10-3. Right is so pissed, challenge one handed is his Briar Patch. So we Carry on with the slow kiss.🤷 One handed...

Cold open, was a natural condition that could be misleading to the less asstoot .😉 I expect 45 minutes to be warm up. Should be ready to shoot (or bail)😉
My left is my proven best cold open. Ronnie breaks off left. Well I have seen him use the right but not for long.🤷

No really it is getting colder in the morning.
Aw heck this ain't nothing. I remember doing tilt-up on the Columbia river when 28 farenheigh felt like a balmy day.🤷
Slight difference in interaction of balls.
One handed is the logical cold start for me. Cutting with a wet saw in Spokane in the winter, taught me to work with one hand while holding the other in front of the space heater. Similar feeling this morning.😉

Slow Kiss one handed race to 10. Shoot until you miss. $5 sale on now.😉
Make a nice morning exercise. Firmness and fitness are my goal.
A person is fortunate to have a sparing partner to play cheap. Lefty is now=> than Right.
Yoga between shot is a must.

Epic battle Lefty down 7-2 was ready to concede. Request was denied. Left E prevailed 10-8. Opening with back to back doubles. With second missed triple by oh man! Just that much 😉🤷

Banging balls off the rail s is my physical therapist choice. Banking and kicking. Still incredible how much longer the healing takes.

Classified Info:
The pause at the back is like Boobs 😉 It has to be natural.
My pause is to finalize the aim through the ball. Well and allow the computer analysis during the practice strokes. Velocity is my final adjustment. My ringer finger is a good Field Marshal. The commitment finger.🤷

Watching the qualification round in the English has been interesting, in that I can identify.🤷
The shot selection and execution remind me of being a Killer B. Win the money but don't get graduation. With defense being job one in B level 8 ball. Well every level.
Caution! that triggers a Grampa story. Every level I have played. Of course when you get to The Miz..... don't let him shoot. The best defense is a good offense. So I look to be Quigley Down Under with my game.

Story time:
Sunday Funday report 😉
No surprise that frame of mind is key.
Our $5 eight ball was very recreational. Good competition and interaction and well recreation. With a good attitude I did well.
Went to the 2nd chance side my first match. Race to 2, on the dark back table immediately after walking in. Driving an hour,🤷. The Cold Start, against the #2 player in local ranking s. I battled out the first game then lost 2-1 after a near miss in each of the next 2.
Heck I have won from here before. Usually required luck in a single game format on the loser side. I felt good and had luck carry me early, survive, survive, survive. Was my method. I did survive all the way to the final s. pulling out a couple of $20 shots to finish and win early games I had gifted🤷. By the time I got to the top, I was in stroke. Won the first set 2-0 taking us to the decider. I broke dry and Gary made a nice out. "He was afraid of me!" Is my favorite claim. Well he did owe me as I had put 2 on him once.🤷
So I almost broke even 😉. We had a nice evening out. History say if I am alone 3rd will get me even. 2nd is required if the wife is along.🤷😁

The first $20 shot. Cut the 6 which was a half inch off the rail, rail first with mass English. Making it and passing between the 15 and pocket for long and straight on the 8. When the 8 dropped, I knew I was ready.
