Practice practice practice

Riding the rails like McGoorty.: well on the table not the tracks. The 2 then 3 rails stations are the ice cream fun kind of challenges. Right just found 9 points to the yellow 1 ball.

Story Alert!
OK now my favorite ice cream story. In basic training at USAFA we had to run an obstacle course. The upperclassman in charge of my squad of 10, offered a quart of ice cream to anyone that could equal his time of 6 minutes 0 seconds. He was proud of his excellent time. I equaled it and was the only basic Cadet to collect on a quart of ice cream. As I consumed the prize, another upperclass Cadet told him that the course had been shortened since his time was set 2 years previous. 🤷‍♂️ oh well.

On a road trip. 😉 Nice waking up to Morning Wood. Lake Merwin, Oregon. I am definitely in woodcarver heaven. Even got to have a fun encounter in Amboy at Nik's(I think) place with 3 tables. Got to play a young man that I nicked as Houdini. 3 consecutive games he got out when I thought I had him in handcuffs. The embarrassing part was him handing me a quarter for each rack. As the local custom is to split the 50 cents.

Woodbutchr porn: A Cedar Butt that I lust after but no longer have the ability to get it up. To the camp to the camp. 😉

Funny story: First target Lefty takes it to 9-0 by virtue of a 6 and 3. Make it a race to 10 was Lefty's smug declaration. ☺
Right returns with the 9 in the Trophy photo. 🤷‍♂️
18-20 hours driving over 2 days.....maybe 3. I' a little burnt mentally. Wrestling the 9,000 lb 36 foot trailer 1080 miles and had a truck rear tire go egg shaped. The travel Gods smiled on me as I was able to land it at the Walmart on 80 east.

Road Story:
We rolled into the rest stop at Warm Springs in Eastern Oregon, the Reservation.
A young man immediately an politely approached me. Well like a host would. He had a problem. He and his young dog were locked out of his truck with the keys and wallet inside. He had called for assistance but was told first a card was required for the $150 show up. It's in the truck 🤷‍♂️.
Well I had my truck equipped Well enough to help him with a couple of wood wedges(hand crafted on the spot) and a coat hanger(the wife's contribution 😉).
After considerable effort, the door as if by miracle. Popped Open. Then he gave me a flashback to the young man that hugged me after defeating me in the 8 ball tournament. Couldn't decline that hug. And some doggie treats were reward e nough. ☺
It sometimes helps having Karma on your side. Highway 95 is narrow and pull outs are few and far. Of course experience as a professional driver help to make an early diagnosis and safely land the Unit. 😉

The purple 4 ball got 2 rails going just right of the 15 ball. The 15 ball on the King pad got The Long Cocked Hat. You know 4 rails wih the 4th being just beyond the side pocket. To the bottom right corner, side end side Side. Fun challenge on both.

Baby steps:

Well at least the first step. 🤷‍♂️
Kind of how I did my cardio challenge while at Lake Merwin. It was around 150 feet change in elevation going down the trail to the lake. Where I selected daily driftwood for the hill climb back to camp. 😉 Checking out My engine, so to speak. Can't remember now but 3 reps seems to be the starting prescribed.
Good news is I feel strong. Bad news is, I tend to get more aggressive when doing weight work. 🤷‍♂️
OK back to The delicate touches to the baby 3 ball.

The good news is I needed that aggression to pilot that Unit through Las Vegas in the dark but heavy at places traffic. A Victory that was only celebrated seated in my Home.

The rarest of rare: Double kiss the 3 ball. Rules committee awards 1 point for the second 😘.
The white had the speed so perfect that the 3 nudged only and then dropped back to knock the wite off the pad. 🤷‍♂️ Yeah yeah , it was Lefty . Now service 12-8 looking for 2 or more to the plum purple 4 ball.

Lefty lays in a 4 making the importance of keeping score. Exercise my computer or better still an audit. 12 service Oops 16 service 8 no no 8 serving 16, see what I mean? 😉

Lefty gets a 7 along with a message from Heaven . Proof personal as to my good thoughts making good things happen.
Paul E Anna would be the scoffing label. 🤷‍♂️ Oh well. Life can be Heaven or Hell. 🤷‍♂️

Sometimes I just can't help it. My first attempt at the 15 on the King pad is of the long cocked hat variation with chalk allowed and most likely required. Definitely fun. Side foot side to side just beyond the pocket. It's there but a challenge. (Well for me.wink)

Right lays in the first points with a 5 to keep him alive. At 13-23. Lefty responds with a glorious count of 8 by bumping the 15 to a 3 hole and remaining over the pad with the white.
Right grumbling at the hand shake, "Well it was closer than the score would indicate. " 31-13 or perhaps 13-31? Either way it's going to our permanent record. 😉

Lefty likes the opening crotch shot. 😉 No really the random draw by luck gave the perfect lay for the 1 rail one handed to the orange stripe 13. On opening shot Lefty fouled the potential 4 points by toching the critch. 🤷‍♂️ But collected 4 on the second try. 0 serving 4.

Wow by virtue of a 3 then 4 Lefty hands the cue over for Right to serve 2 rails or more to the teal ten right next door. 🤷‍♂️ love service 11 over.
