The Balance or quick snap the picture.
The cue illustration of inital path to accomplish the long cocked hat to the 15. With loose rubber on the side rail near the middle pocket makes this an equipment specific situation.
Story with a uh lesson (or 2) starting with daily balance work. Both physical and mental. Took a while to get the cue to stay.
Oh yeah, the story about.....Sometimes a bad rail is a good rail.

At The Hilltop in Redding CA there was a weekly tournament on 7' Valley tables. A real Master of the bar box, first checks the rails.
The foot rail had loose rubber extraordinary. The technique of grabbing the rails as you squat to access the ball tray was suspected as cause as the loosen fit the width of same. Anyway it was a giggle to watch a road player grade shooter come in and play without rail check. The loose rubber created a backward result to spin. So running english to a natural 3 rail shape became . .....some funny stuff.
I think that's it. Just reliving the moment gives me the giggles.
Oops almost forgot the Brag. A close inspection of the photo will reveal a Maximum to the 2 rail target 1 ball. Two rails out of the near corner leaves both in a hole and kissing. Right yeah Right did it. Whoop E!
