All's well here. Last night my wife and I played in a scotch doubles chip tournament at Griff's in Vegas. A fun event and our first social night in a long time.😁 Even if we only won 2 games, it was fun.😉
My practice is fun when...... I mean fitness program, when I invent or discover a new challenge. Making all three balls would be like hitting the lottery. The cross side bank is a given with contact with the ball on the foot rail being natural. Through repetition I have seen 3 different ways the second ball could be pocketed.
1)Hit it in the face and bank it to the corner or side.
2) Cut it to the corner.
3) Hit bottom rail first and kick it to side or corner.
The rail first kick has the potential for the cue ball to get deep enough to scratch straight in the corner. So the perfect shot would be make the cross side bank then kick to the corner with the cue ball scratch. This would seem to be possible but require a little special sauce to get the cue ball deep enough for the scratch after the bottom rail contact/kick.
Just an amusement.😉

This is my last shot in the Chase. Using Colin's #1 shot on the 5 with a spotted 15. A real natural for a chance at the mythical 6 point shot.😉 The Unicorn, I have named it.😉 kind of like a double eagle in golf or is it the Albatross?

Lots of good stuff in the snooker on DAZN. I broke down and got another month just for the last. Finals. The app borked on me two days in a row. Must have been in the links in the app. 404 error on main page but go to snooker and click same event and it works... Today. Knock wood.
The same value in every match with the comments.

Oh what fun:
Having the snooker on during my morning workout.

One of my challenging doubles. Again using Colin's positions. Instead of shooting the 1 straight in as in his challenge. I bank it cross corner taking the cue ball foot rail head rail and strike the 8 and maybe the same pocket.
John Higgins is on mid session break and a good one. 2-2 with Nooh.

Learning learning learning:
The exhilaration of learning is a major factor in my selection of pocket billiards as a hobby. It's nice to have a hobby that doesn't cost money. That was a major factor too!
A profit was nice but break even was an achieve able goal. Starting out I tried to balance my play, between easy money and lessons. Looking to improve. Now that I am retired I can enjoy the learning and even relearning. What's the Old Fart say? "I have forgotten more than"😉 without the easy money.
My willingness to pay for lessons started out at $1/game bar table 8 ball.
Still willing to pay for lessons. Of course it's only fair to charge for same 🤷
Oh sh-----oot snooker is on again. Love having it on while doing my fitness program.

Vafaei seemlessly change hands. Oh yeah!
As to the young player that Ronnie predicted to be next great...... well when he can do that!
Vafaei raised a little dust with comments. Trump is putting him to the test now. 3-1 on interval.
Great fun! Really has me inspecting my technique as the precision being put on display is extraordinary.

Barry Stark has made Video 149 available on his YouTube channel. More pure gold.
Watched Kyren playing today and thought of Barry coaching him. Found this video provides a little insight into the coaching relationship Barry and Kyren share.

It's not practice, it's training:
Whew, the elevation! 7 thousand two hundred and 50 feet. Above sea level. Sir! Oops sorry. A reflex from training.
The elevation that first Mark now Ronnie wow just wow. Inspiration from the masters plus the knowledge injection from past Masters.

The snooker has me eating my desert first. Shipped Chase Tail and went to 3 ball. (My Fun game). I got my break second hand through the bar tender that called him. In Reno. $50 tip.
Oh the lucky left. Two rails in the tiny side. On the natural to the corner. Pthhhhhht

My final thought?:
Just lay it in there....I can make anything.
I saw that in Efren back when he was still F-ram.

Mark Williams is laying it in there.
Just heard that in an exhibit match race to 11...... He had 9 centuries! Two of which were Maximum zzz.

Disclaimer:
Nothing sweet as a little fight on the table.
My favorite quotes:
From the 6 year old re the taller 8 year old. "He said he could fight." I was a witless. Tea he.
Honorable mention goes to; the 8 year old to 6 year old brother. "I am sick of you being yourself!"

Ramblin' Rose:
Would be my intro music.
Mark's was. ..Delia Lah. Why.. .
Just found it.
Couldn't recognize Ronnie's

On a roll..... My sermon:
Start out with no chalk and use both hands.
Do it. Go back to go and give each step the time it needs. Oh the reward of due diligence. It's got to be funny at first, and we'll second... Hire the.....my handicap is floating just above 550....
Never mind 😉

When my opponent played outstanding, my favorite expression used to be, "Like walking into a buzz saw". Now it will be, "Like getting hit by a Rocket!"
The pace can be an intimidating factor. Against stronger players I must remind myself.....to play at my pace.
Note to self; Just remember The Tortoise and the Hare.
If it's the Rocket.... just try to go down with dignity.

Aug 14, 2020 — Mark Selby said Ronnie O'Sullivan was being “disrespectful” after losing to his rival in the semi-finals of the World Snooker Championship.
Here's the end of it. Posted to YouTube just a few days ago. I had the good fortune of watching it at the time. Guess I should have said Spoiler alert.
Selby took offense at the Hit and Hope tactic. In 9 ball that is one of my favorite tactics.😉 Perhaps the nether pain came when he changed the tactics, uh unannounced.🤷
Looking forward to the matches that are upcoming in this year's Championship. Surely the Irresistible force will encounter the immovable object soon. Just don't know which players it will be. 🤷
