Ships Log 01-01-23?: Where does the time go?
Caught myself whistling this morning. I remember the Walker guy coming all the way across the room to tell me I need to stop whistling. I was not aware of the whistle as I was just regulating my oxygen intake and exhaust.

Ships Log 01-02-23: Managed to get the opening exercise on record. So each shot is a short. Will probably archive them on the tube.
Right won 10-0 in the exercise that Lefty has dominated. Hmmmm. Maybe stage fright?🤷
 
The Pea in the center of the ball, is what Mr Herb taught me to hit in baseball. It works just as well for me playing pool.
The 3 ball break will tell me if I am a millimeter off in my strike of the cue ball. The break I employ calls for center ball. Go figure 🤷. How many beginning players want to learn English before they can speak Center ball?
With triple mass a center strike and hit should get the cue ball popping straight back at me. My velocity gets about 6 inches at perfect. The variation from perfect is imediatly obvious.
Then the fun part begins. Another basic task, figure out the run. Then execute it. To play for money the percentage of accurate breaks and then runs must be high.
If my break and run percentage goes above 90% , I like to break and kick them in. In the meantime when I miss the next shot must be a kick or bank.😁

With 3 balls on the table in anticipation of the Chase. Right hits it hard. Getting the kiss then kissed the other 2 as well. Before diving into the side pocket for the doubler (Australia Rules).
Well Your Honor , I feel that each kiss should be a point and with the doubler in play that's a 6.

Lefty runs 14 and gets the double to 23 and running. Somebody switched to the Mo Norman mode.🤷 Must have been Lefty. Ok done. 15 consecutive hits with the last 1/16 from infinite.🤪

The final shot in the Chase. I recorded each shot with a 30 second shot clock, well less than 30 goal. Now I get to review all of them, looking for evidence.
 
Being the videographer isn't as easy as you might think. Duh this morning evidence.

Left at 10 seconds. Goal was set second foot and inspect for alignment. The alignment tool being the cue. My at ease stance is best, then let the mechanics set the cue. Well the computer program is classified.
Are they aligned?
If Yes go to Bridge hand that is.
No= go to begin

Then the Right, then analyze.
Weight lifting regimen was gradual addition. So now at 10 seconds I need to be on the bridge.....Game On!🤪

So the story goes like this. Lefty don't think too good under pressure or maybe the Meds🤷
After pre-Chase banter. The Slow Kiss was reinstated. At Lefty's insisting. Then at his very finest Lefty set up the Norman kick. Then never got set on the cue ball, till I made it the Right way. On the 4th try.
