Practice practice practice

The Snooker Shoot Out is an interesting event. Live on Matchroom now. A lot to observe and since the tv is at the heater station and it's freezing.
🤷
Oh the luxury of my shop. Plus it makes my morning Dance....uh uninhibited. Funky Grampa, Go Grampa go Grampa.

Blue Ball Shootout. Not here but with my own room... possible.🤪 The Snooker I mean. An interesting concept and contest . Hmmm this fits my 10 second camera challenge. I have yet to master...back to the table.😁

Finger break, Lefty caught a gear (and every roll, says Right).

The balance prayer, while watching Shoot Out.
Yeah yeah it will be 2 serving 8 going to 10.

caught the back door double. After kiss the white returns to overhang the Alien. The wiggle in the left wing is an interesting variable.
The intermission music from the shootout is very helpful, for my dance practice.

Right dances over the finish line at 10 and stopped at 12. Lefty gets one chance to exceed or tie from 8.
Oh wow! I am exhausted. Lefty posts 3 consecutive doubles and snagged the Ribbon. 14-12 final score. Now to enjoy the Shootout.

Friday 1-27-23 morning is still cold. The Snooker Shoot Out is a trove. The comments are pure gold.

Flavor of the day: Stand upright. The lower back maxed out asked for a break. Requires or well encourage perfection of the Grip.
Primary target will be cue ball on the Alien.

It took this long but Lefty just hit The Home Run.

3 points for in the divot and bonus point for proximity to the rail. (Rules committee is pretty Liberal 😉🤪)
And oh yeah, the Strategy.

I have been triggered. The Primary target gave me a flashback to the Basic training. The P R one C K . Was the designation of a weapon that's primary target was the P U fifty five Y. Like the SR-71

The intermission music fits right in to my dancer size practice.
Well the Right put a move on. After duplicate of the 4 point shot. And at 4-4 he offhandedly proposed one handed and upon acceptance, ran to 12. Sheesh, Lefty gets 2 and miss 6-12 goes in the register 😉 oh good Shoot Out is back. 10 minutes per match is working for me.👍

Sir the PR-1CK is a heat seeking guided muscle. It's primary target is the PU-55Y. Sir!
Ships Log Sat 1-28-23: Cold but Snooker Shoot Out is final day. Very interesting and can be educational as well. Perfect for me to play, I mean work through my fitness program.😉 The 10 minutes then music break! Keep me dance.🤷
Flavor of the day is Right hands Gaff challenge. He just opened with a 12. Lefty straggler got to 4. Well Lefty says he's the one that made the sacrifice that lead to one handed right while he languish in the sling. On to the Chase.

Ok set the camera. This could be funny. One handed to the Chase. Right giving Lefty a. Participation point. So 1-1 and off we go.

Oh well got the technical part right down to the double...... But wrong shot. I was just demonstration of how he dominated the Slow roll. Yeah that's the story.😉
It does have the interval music. I don't know how to mute so it might not be up long. Kind of like what I tell my wife.🤷

Thank you for the input was the nature of a Mark Allen response to news that Stephen Hendry said something regarding his pace. He then mentioned the Shoot Out coming next as where he could use/apply the advice. I thought I detected sarcasm. Then I looked at Wikipedia list of Shoot Out records.
Highest break. ..141 Mark Allen.🤷

Back in front of the campfire. One good thing about the one handed chase is the reps. Oh and the funny stuff Lefty has produced. Could always make it to a time limit.... yeah that's the ticket. 3-1 Lefty 😉

Mon 1-30-23:
Not so cold but 34 isn't quite balmy.
Flavor of the day, uh Alien Target is opener. Just stop the white on the Alien. Hang over for 1 on it for 2 and in a hole for 3. With a bonus point for proximity to the rail with object ball. My cue butt is my standard measure unit. Within a butt for a bonus point. Frozen would have to be 2.🤷
Lefty opens with 7 and is feeling Cocky. Just so happy to have a bridge to shoot from today. The format for this exercise is shoot upright like Mosconi.
Well Right answered with 15. If Lefty can run 9 he wins otherwise Right snatches the Trophy.😉
Lefty surrendered. On to the Chase.

Yesterday s one handed practice has had a noticable improvement in my early aiming. Having the absolute best points of aim as if I were going to shoot one handed is where I want to be when setting the bridge.
So First finding the point on the object ball and then placing my cue on the line with peripherals.
The one handed practice proves to me the importance of my focus on exactly where and how the tip strikes the ball.
I should make one handed a part of my morning stretch and flex. A small part😉.

On the Alien is the flavor of the day. 1-31-23:
Just stopping the cue ball over the Alien is proving easy. So alternate shot must win by 2 is the challenge race to 10. Produced a final score of 18-20, with full ball on the Alien (2) being average. Made an interesting contest while giving me the reps.😉 So Right takes 1 to the Chase.🤷

Just noticed the comments from the Derby City one pocket With JJ and Scott Frost competition to spread knowledge.
The conversation went to "what is the most important shot?" I recall a consensus opinion in earlier discussion among Pros of "the break" in 9 ball. And for sure in my favorite break practice....3 ball. They seemed to concur that your first shot was the most important.
My theory matches and my experience proves it to me. Absolute perfect on the first ball makes the journey less taxing. And Yes I drove taxi in Reno for a summer. Taxing not Taxi...... sorry 😐

Coming into the home stretch in the Chase is my favorite shot.
I guess the buzz is because the camera was close to the tv monitor.
