I've seen so many, drills etc, but never heard this talked about and it's your baseline. To begin....I'll toss balls out on the table and just shoot ones I have difficulty with....but....use ZERO outside cueing. Learning the feel of the cut angle is what pools all about, along with learning the feel of walking up to the shot , making sure your swinging it in the center axis only to then mistakenly pound it into the rail ugh:speechless:. Only cue whitey along the vertical axis between 6 and 12 o'clock. This type of practicing makes one even more aware of center ball and builds muscle memory very quickly.
