Cold fingers morning reminds of how cold my hands would get when I was in tough competition.
Faced tough competition in the apa league 9 ball last night. Had my moments but slipped and fell.
My inspection of my opponent' first rack gave notice and on my second break no inspection was necessary....and I Snapped the 9. (A similar happened in a tournament where Dan Louie's insisting that the rack be tight on a worn bar box led to frustration on opponents part. So he handed Danny the rack. Dan of course racked em and Snapped the 9. )
APA 9 ball is such a silly game would be my grumble with a plethora of excuses.
The fact of the matter was my opponent shot well. He did have to

First shot of the day was taken without the stretch. It fell. An indication that my foundation and balance are fine. Now the fitness guru insist do it right. The whole exergenie lift floor to ceiling.
The more I practice the luckier I get.
Disciplined practice that is.

Oh Zaho! Wow! Vs Higgins in the finals is a classic clash.

Tight and too quick is what pressure has done to Higgins. Well that's my Ass Says Mint.
Just a little longer at the pause after the last eyes shift to down. Well that's been my experience. Mark Williams care free attitude is required to right the ship as his lead has dissolved. At 3-3 Zhao disappointed the mob with a victory. The maximum was in play when he missed sufficient Lee beyond the Snooker required level. Now Zhao leads 4-3 With one to go for the session.

Gotta love the 3 taps to the table as acknowledging a Nice shot. My preference is to verbalize in passant, "Nice shot" of course an extra ordinary one got, "Nice shoot. (With trailing ass hole. Ptht)"

My favorite 8 ball lessons came......well, I have 2 favorites.
The first was a dollar a game at The South Hill Saloon. I was New and paid the dollar z for the lessons. I was very competitive in the 5 dollar 9 ball tournaments. The Old Elmer Fudd looking bunt ball block pocket Guy was like martial art lesson in Jui Jitsu.

I have a few 8 ball titles now. And my favorites end with Ass hoooole.
I moved up to 5 dollar lessons from Portland Slim. The eldest at the 211 down town and upstairs Seattle. He played me as a pass time and invariably put me down by 25-35. He was Old enough to tire and I was in my prime young(28).
So we played until I got it back to zero. A great workout and I paid the time and beverages.

The awquard cueing that brought a miss would have been natural with the other hand. Barry doesn't use the other hand. Jack does ....

Jack Pot Jack! Can come back. My personal best was down 6-2 going to 7 . Playing for the point and guarantee 2nd place in The Big Show. 2 day event at The White Spot er uh Right Spot in Fife.
I saw Dan Louie come back from down 6-0 going to 7 in the finals on 7 foot Diamond tables. TWICE!@@!!!!

When I "got my mind right" , I just knew that if I get to shoot, I will win.....He saw my come back to catch him on the hill. He Snapped the 9! Oh my congrat you lation was sincere and definitely got asshole with a ☺. I only got 4th but oh so close to winning it all.
