Prather Full Splice Blanks

I thought I would start a new thread to showcase some of what Jeff Prather is doing these days with his full splice blanks. A couple of these blanks are already spoken for...particularly in the first set of pics. The next set of pics were sent to me today.

I may be wrong, but I believe the Narra/Curly, Curly/Purpleheart, and Ebony/Curly were still available from the first set. The second set are all ebonies...one being a Leopard/Straight Grain, the next is a Moon (Black and White)/Straight Grain, and lastly Maple/Ebony.

If there is an interest, I urge you to give Jeff Prather a call, as these blanks do not seem to last long...800-364-6913. Also, I would like to add that Jeff can also build a blank from your wood as well. The man definitely knows his stuff, and is great fun to talk to as well!

No Problem. And to think that Jeff is turning out blanks like these all the time! Definitely an under-rated builder who deserves some credit where credit is due, IMHO.

Here is another pic of a very nice Prather. I agree Lisa, the Prather gang are very underrated. And their customer service is second to none.

Wow again! Thanks to you as well, for sharing!! It's great to see these blanks and cues coming out of 'hiding'...LoL. One thing's for sure, Jeff doesn't 'scrimp' on the woods he manages to get his hands on...gorgeous stuff!

I also agree with their customer service being top-notch....they made me feel like I was a regular customer, answered my questions and sent pics when requested almost immediately...great folks to deal with, to be sure!

Under rated is a understatement, the Prathers are a cue build Dynasty, every single member of the immediate family builds cues withy the exception of Seniors wife and Jeffs mother. However, their reputation as cue makers is not their primary concern, their business is way beyond that and that was a choice they made many years ago.:)
 
I just wanted to add this link for a couple of these blanks that were featured earlier, that are now completed cues and available direct from Prather...they were just, and I do mean just, listed on their website....enjoy!!

As a side note...check out these cues from Dan Prather, Sr...they are pretty nice and unique and should not last long!!
