What is the typical joint diameter size of pred 314-2 3/8-10 shaft. Is it close to .850 stock? Thanks in advance. I have a custom cue on order and want to know if I should send a partial to be fitted or will a stock fit the .850 within a few thousandths.

i was thinking .840,but Mike may be right.pretty sure it is smaller than .850 though.

So many varying answers. I appreciate the input thus far. I need to know for sure because when I finally get my custom I need to get a pred shaft for it. 314-2. The finished diameter of the joint will be .850 and I need the shaft to fit perfect. I would really like to just buy one without having to go the blank route. More input is appreciated. Thanks guys.

I a little new to this game yet but, it would be easier to size the shaft to the handle instead of handle to the shaft. If I made a custom cue for a customer who wanted a z shaft, I would just purchase a parcial from atlas and match the ring work. It would be best to sand the two pieces together for a perfect match. A finished shaft would already have a finish coat on it and the length would already be set. Do yourself a favor and ask your cue maker to get the shaft for you if you haven't purchased already, chances are he can get it cheaper.

good luck, Jim.

You know,......a simple, toll free phone call to any Predator dealer would have got you your answer. Just for grins, try this : Seybert's (877.314.2837).
