Pred BK2 With Mushroomed Ferrule

I've got a friend who has a BK2 which is his player. He breaks and shoots with it. The ferrule has mushroomed out and developed a crack. Will Predator stand behind the product and fix it?
Has anyone had experience with sending something back to them? How did it work out?

Hello,

I just sent back a friend's BLAK-3 cue as it was buzzing terribly. I gave them a call immediately and a very kind woman - Maggie - answered it. She was extremely helpful, completely understanding and tried to (and did) help where she could.

Give them a call, it's worth it.

I had a BK2 not long ago. I had my guy cut the phenolic off and put on a hard leather tip.... leaving the black pad intact as instructed. Not long afterwards, the entire ferrule caved in when a buddy of mine broke with it.
Me thinks they have some issues on some of the ferrules, the one I had I would guess the wall thickness to be 1/32 or less.

I simply called their Intl. number (as I am from Europe, Hungary) provided on their site and it was her answering it. Sorry.
 
beware of the collar on the shaft. mine broke into after about 3 weeks of play.......and they would not replace the shaft
 
I bought the 5k7 with a Z2 and shot with it a few times and the ferrule flew off the shaft. This was from the glue problem they had but their customer service was incredible. It was a 2 week time frame and received the shaft exactly 2 weeks later and everything was normal.

Did you have to send it overseas? Someone told me they were made in China, but I don't know, I don't personally own one.
Sounds like the turn around was fast and that you were satsfied with the results.

They are based out of Jacksonville,FL and that is where I was told to send it. I was very satisfied and they were very helpful on the phone and even called me to let me know the cue was on its way..phone number is 1-888-314-4111
 
the ten pieces just split from the joint. they said if it fell on the floor it could do the same. i spoke with others whom had the same problem thou, just unlucky i guess
