Predator BK2 remake on February?

Hello everyone, I heard a rumor about predator is launching a remake of the BK2, does anybody know something?

I see they reissued limited run for $529. I came home and bought a very nice original online with leather wrap immediately after trying a friends about 3 years ago and is the one cue I own I will never let go. Really improved my break results which were weak.

I have never hit w/ one of these. I have used a Rush a couple times. What was it that made people fall in love w/ this model? Is it any different than every other cue w/ a phenolic tip? Do you prefer this or the BK Rush?

i use it, it's a very good break cue. i changed the phenolic to samsara. to me it's equal to the BK rush. but i will say that it's not worth the price. neither of them are, imho.
 
I regret getting rid of my BK2 which I used for like 10 years after getting the Rush. I like the Rush a little better, but wish I had the BK2 for a change every now and then. I’d pick one up if Predator wasn’t charging $560 for it.
 
Originally, I asked this question because I wanted to buy a BK3. Then, somebody told me the reissue rumour but nobody knew anything about it, so I waited few months because BK2 reviews are good, however last moth I got a good deal for a flawless BK3. Even though I’m very happy and love my BK3 I would have preferred to wait more and get this model.
 
I still have a shaft for this cue. The quality of the butt SUCKS! It's painted maple, but badly painted, which dings and flakes very easily. The cost is outrageous. The shaft is of decent quality, I guess. It's a giant ripoff, like most Predator products.

Finding surviving butts for this cue in good condition is not easy...take from that what you will.
