sounds interesting but their being greedy only offered on their LE series 3500 bucks kinda lost my respect. i am predator fan but this does suck whatever happened to a playing cue I could understand a 600-800 starting point.

LOL, I can think of quite a few cues I could buy for $3500 that I would be comfortable saying will go up in value. Once Predator brings out their next "greatest" shaft made of Adamantium, these will be worth, how much?

Thats barely more than they have had those same LEs recently. Its not new with their LE cues at all. The revo shaft is only available on the LEs but they will offer them with other cues within a month i'd bet.

Man, those are some ugly cues too!

I have to imagine in time the shaft will be offered on more cues and eventually separately. I'm highly intrigued by the shaft. Working in an industry that makes extensive use of carbon fiber (cycling) and for one of the few companies who do their own carbon fiber manufacturing in the US, I'm very familiar with the material and how advantageous it can be in certain implementations. I don't know that we'll see the day when carbon replaces wood in cues, but that was once said about bike frames and carbon has done just that, so I also wouldn't put it out of the question.

Would love to get my hands on one of these shafts to try out someday and see how it performs.

Also, the appeal of a shaft that won't warp if you leave it in your car regardless of the season is kind of appealing too.

Lol. I pity the fool who buys this. Those cues are UG-LY! 3500 thousand buys you a pretty sweet cue from a lot of great cuemakers, not that I'd ever spend that much for a cue, but I'd be ashamed to be seen with those ugly Predator monstrosities at the poolhall. I'd flaunt a neon green cuetec before those cues. There is a golden rule of Western culture: No matter how ugly, useless or dangerous a product is, as long as it is expensive enough, someone will want to buy it. Somewhere an idiot is cashing in his retirement/inheritance/life savings for one of these.

I agree the LE series not very appealing . A P3 with this would be pretty stealthy a price tag around a 1000 might get some people buying.

I want to see it on a linen wrap Roadline sneaky for $600. That would sell I think. And I know what carbon costs to import from China, they can make that happen.

I've heard in the 500 price range but that's rumor they only added a few hundred to what there asking for the LE series.
