Predator Tables - Sebert's has them...

Was at Seberts a couple months ago. Was hoping show the wife the beautiful diamond table that was there last year. Instead there’s a Predator table there , I hit a couple balls on it . Not nearly as pretty as the Diamond that was there prior.

I’m in the market looking for a diamond 7 footer. I considered the predator tables until I saw that it was more $500 lol Look I play predator Cues. I Play with the basic predator cues because I don’t see value in a $2000 cue from them but I can’t pay more for a table that isn’t a diamond. If it was a $500 less it would be a no.

How much of a difference does it really make? If I use the same cloth and rubber as a diamond or predator is there really that big of a difference to warrant the price?

I saw one in person at Ozone back in September '22. It looked like it was made out of particle board sides. For the low price of $5k on sale and free delivery it could have been mine and I told the salesman to keep his cat table. I rolled a ball across it and wasn't impressed in the least bit. If this is what they're pushing left n right as the new thing, Diamond will be just fine selling tables.

The 7ft Preds are built about like a Valley. They aren't anything like the 9ft version.

"Seybert's" is one of Predator's biggest distributor's.
Not surprising they are pushing the Predator-branded, overpriced junk over the higher quality, fair-priced Diamond tables.
I don't order from them anymore btw- twice I received warped high-end shafts from them-- one a Revo!
PoolDawg, Ozone, or Billiard Warehouse for me now.

That’s ridiculous - they should make both to the same quality, especially if they’re trying to compete with Diamond.
Yeah well they didn't. i've seen pics of them apart and wasn't impressed to say the least. A Diamionds is light yrs better.

There are other threads on here about the difference in construction between the two. The table mechanics seem to be in universal agreement that that the predator is an inferior design. Lots of pro players have complained also about the predator.

I think that if the the two tables were equivalent in function you would see less complaints about the price as $500 is a typical surcharge for the predator logo.

If Valley tables were built like Air Hockey tables, I'd agree with you, but a Valley table is built leaps and bounds better than the Predator 7fts!
Yeah you can not like How a valley play. I mean they are made for arcades and bars where the focus is a bad player needs to get the game over with so someone stick more money not for people that are good at the game But they are definitely made like tanks to withstand all the b.s. Of drunks and children.
