Even if you're a hard core non production cue connoisseur, your input is still valued.

If you were to take different aspects of the 2015 A model Viking cues to create your own unique cue, how would you want it?

Please list the cues you'd use (Viking A Models Only) and the components. If you'd want a different color, add it.
They're all available at 58"-60"
CNC is the norm for production.

This isn't about what Viking does or doesn't do, only about you and what you would do using these aspects to create your style.

Sharp Points - It's hard to believe that a $1,4000 Viking has large radius CNC points.
Length Options - I like 60" cues.
 
I agree about sharp points, but as a by product of a full splice.
Everything else is just an inlay, and contributes nothing to to the cue's integrity.
My full splice cue cost less than $300. (before custom mods)
My length preference is 62"
 
You can get a $99 Chinese made cue with real inlaid sharp points.
At the price of Schon and others CNC points are a disgrace to the industry.

I like the a521, and wish that Viking could make more cues like that and move away from using so much mother of pearl. Some of their designs have potential but it's like they panic if they can't use any mother of pearl. Do they own an oyster farm or something? Mother of pearl should be used with extreme moderation in cues IMHO. And if it isn't mother of pearl it is God damned turqoise. Either of these materials can make even the nicest, classiest cue look like it was designed by Fran Fine from "The Nanny". I think many of the cues would look better if, instead of mother of pearl, they would use exotic woods in their inlays and rings, especially when we are talking about the larger, floating points, although frankly I don't care much for those to begin with...

This may come off as more negative than I intended. I realize that maybe I'm not the target demographic for their cues, but I think that many of their cues have an interesting concept that with just a little tweaking could be amazing, like the A536 sans the turqoise (although if you have to use it, this is how it should be done). The A344 has a nice butt-section, but should be used with a different forearm.

All possible. Which forearm would you match with the A344 butt? By the way, every player is the target demographic.
