My house needs a paint job. Everything in my house is mechanically sound but does need some cosmetic updates.

So what do I do....go out and buy a used Brunswick GC II. I feel a bit guilty. Have any of you ever put something off for the love of the game?

It depends. How's your sex life? If 40 years of marriage has taught me anything, I'd say, check with your wife...:bash:

Hey, bud, it's getting cold!

Paint won't dry well when it's cold!

Get the GC and be nice and warm inside for the winter.

Paint the house next summer.

A paint job will make your house prettier, but won't make your life any better. If it comes down to one or the other, it's not much of a choice.

This isn't even a decision. The GC II is the higher priority. As was said, check with the wife. If it is a problem, get a new one...wife that is....

Haha, ever put something off for the love of the game? I got laid off from my job and instead of wondering how quick I could get a new job I thought about how many weeks of unemployment I had to practice my game. Talk about putting things off ... who me? Nah never! (Admins please move this to NPR if my comment degrades this post.) *sorry*

Of course, it was a bit easier for me to "put things off" with money saved up and a full game room with a pool table already installed in my house. :)

Now that's dedication

Sorry, have to disagree this time. He has a PINK HOUSE! REPAINT IT NOW! (NOT pink again) geez, that would be like having to live in a giant pepto-bismol bottle.

I feel better calling it salmon lol. It's surprising what you get used to. Actually in about a month I'm going to try and paint it. 50 to 70 degrees is good for paint to dry on aluminum.....nice and slow.
