It was a great site. Unfortunately, It must have been a $$ pit. He kept expenses low but income was even lower. Im just assuming here and hope he can get some sponsorship and give it another try. He should try charging 3$ per video before giving up. It might work.
I don't like the 3 bucks per video idea, I think the free part was what made it a great site. I wish it were still up but I understand cost and all. Hey maybe I could just get them to send me all the vid's and I will just watch them that way lol. 
It's a good idea to click on the ads on sites that are free. They get paid each time you click on one - don't go nuts - they don't get paid for multiple clicks from the same IP address. Doing that helps them to pay the bills a little bit.
And if you happen to find something you like and just can't live without then buy it from an advertiser who supports the good free-content sites. That keeps the circle going by providing that advertiser with income to sponsor with.

I always thought that the number of matches available, and the high quality made it a good site. I would have no problem paying a little something to help out... maybe a modest monthly charge to help offset expenses.. 5 or 10 dollars a month maybe. That's one of the problems with all the free content on the internet. We get spoiled to getting everything for free and forget that it actually takes money to maintain these kinds of things. Same thing with TAR.. tons of folks when the feed is free , but they scatter as soon as you try to charge a little something for all your trouble.

AZbilliards members should buy out propoolvideo and put all the videos on this site instead. Everyone puts in 5 or 10 bucks, and then get member access to all the videos.
I've wondered if Fleming from Accu-stats would consider doing the same with his old matches that don't have commentary. People here would love to watch a 1988 14.1 match with no commentary, especially if they could post in a chat room at the same time.
