Format and prize structure...

64 player limited field. single knockout, 1000$ entry

Each round advanced you win your opponents entry.
prize structure 1st $6000, 2nd $5000, 3-4 $4000, 5-8 $3000, 9-16 $2000, 17-32 $1000.

Player sponsor pays entry and people waiting in line to get on tour.

Put up $1000 to win $6000 is pretty brave when it is a crap shoot, but interesting idea.

Players wouldn't put up money... sponsor and merchandise would pay it. Players would have to start selling the game though. Start a Pro Pool Tour (PPT). Run leagues etc and member fees like the BCA. Look after player ranking, rules etc. At each event have only PPT booths with player Shirts and merchandise for sale. Player knocked out gives lessons... Have their equipment on display with specs to the public. They could order from the player sponsor the exact cue... try every way to get people interested and spending money. 100% prize money paid.
