Probably a novelty. Six Points Full Long Spliced Cue

I`ve tried two of them. They`re good players with a very nice stiff hit!
Very individual cues, good craftsmanship. Nothing to fault.

P.S.: Hi Simple!

I like your cues. The last pic, top cue looks very nice. Simple brown hues, but still looks elegant.

I can't tell you how much I like your designs! Literally all the cues you posted look awesome! I am very-very impressed and I just can't find out why haven't I heard about you sooner.
I hope you'll be a constant member of this forum and that you will post tons of pics of your pics!

Keep up the great work,
Poohkiller

P.S.: I live in Hungary, in this way we shouldn't have that much of a time difference :o) (however I don't know where you live in Russia...

The first full splice on the 1st page definitely made my head turn...

Am becoming a interested customer!! Do post pictures of your cues in progress!

Thanks a lot.

I live in Russia, in Siberia, the city - Omsk. The difference of 5-6 hours, is a lot too.:)

Do post pictures of your cues in progress!

I have the some pool cues in progress. As soon as they become photogenic :) I shall show a photo in progress.

For example - one of my most favourite cue. Probably because I think that it the first successful pool cue (the end of 2004). By the way here for the first time I used the same technology Six Points Full Long Spliced.

Addition. Wood - Padook, Hornbeam, Ziricot, Tulipwood, Ebony, the Mammoth. Hornbeam shaft with crown white on white. Probably therefore it was possible to make such long protaper (about 45см) and shaft has remained quite steady.

Dmitry, unfortunatelly i dont have any pics of my personal cues available, but you can always go to our site to see what we have and what we are able to do. www.carolinacues.com We build traditional cues but also can build basically ANYTHING you can imagine. 6point,8point, recuts, ivory joints and butt caps, exotic wraps. Give us a look and let us know what you think. This goes for everyone that sees this post. Thanks, Jon

You have some very nice cues from a variety of materials.

I especially liked your carved butt sleeves.

I could not tell what materials, but definately a one of a kind look.

Thanks Robert. You meant these sleeves? It is mammoth, ebony and latin name Buxus (I do not know how in English). One of a kind certainly. The groove is made manually therefore did not repeat.

Yes this theme was very popular in 2002-2003. But now we make such sleeves seldom. First, it is " expensive pleasure " and not many customers can order such sleeve. Second, there is a technological problem. How to cover clean coats on a groove and to not deform depth of the relief? Probably someone has ideas on this problem. Any ideas. Thanks.

Thanks Jon. I am familiar with your site. Very beautiful cues. The big variety. Simultaneously there is the recognized style and confidence of work. Thanks.
But I have not seen Full Long Spliced cues. Similar Sneaky Pete . I like Full Long Spliced cues. I think that such cues maximum precisely transfer ?feeling of a shot? ?Feedback? (I do not know how it correctly to tell in English) . Therefore we experimented with Long Spliced. Result - Six Points Full Long Spliced technology. I did not meet such variant while.

But I make also classical Short Spliced cues with tenon too. For example such cues. The first without a wrap with a banksia nut sleeve and with extension. The second with leather wrap.

The third cue is classical Full Long Spliced cue. The owner the bottom two cues is the user of this forum Simple. Contact user Simple. Maybe he will sell them.

I have to correct you: I have another sneaky of you, with palisander sleeve.
Sorry Simple, I have incorrectly understood you. Cocobolo sneaky or with linen wrap and Yellow Buxus on a sleeve? Maybe you can show the photo?

P.S. I have answered all PMs and е-mails. Thanks

Dmitry, show them some butterfly spliced cues which are traditional for Russian pyramide. They will go nuts when they see them :D

Hi the compatriot. :) Did we meet on Russian forums?

IMHO Classical Russian cues are monotonous . Pool cues have the greater variety. But earlier ours cues were more various too. Here are ours cues 2001 when we experimented with different new for us wood. This experience is very useful now.

Now many cues are similar each other. Distinction only in the applied wood. These last two cues which this week leave to the customers. The first Ebony and Hornbeam with G10 pin 3/8-11. The second Ebony and Zebrano.

That banksia nut wood is just sick...

Omsk really is far from here but anyways it's not 14 hours :o)

I honestly love your works, and sorry for posting it again but I hope you are going to keep the pictures and the amazing cues coming in the future!

Take care,
Pooh

all the positive feedback (not only from the US but Europe like Germany also) shows that our cuemakers and their craftwork can amaze many ppl and be of high demand abroad. And with proper marketing Russian woodworkers can become famous enough. The only problem is the distance.
hope to meet you here soon, Dmitry :)

what materials is the first cue made of? did you use stains, or is it all natural?

btw, did i mention it looks FANTASTIC? i think, i did :p
