Problems uploading pictures

I still cannot upload picture files.
Is there another method that we should use for the new forum server?
I see some folks insert "image" parentheticals, before and after a picture file, and then the picture is placed within the MESSAGE window, without having to upload (the way we used to do it).
How do you do that?

i tried to do it last night and I thought it was my computer. I have never posted using photobucket but I got it to work on the first try. it was ez and everybody should try it

I like photobucket as well. I used to use a service that let me link to thumbnail pics, then when clicked on would load a fullsize version saving people bandwidth. Now I post a single pic leading to a gallery or album with the rest of the pics I want them to see. I must admit, you gotta love how easy it is.
I just joined Photobucket, and it is very strange that my brand-new account has two pictures in it, one of Keith and Jimmy Reid and one of Keith as Grady Seasons. I don't know how they got inserted in my brand-new account that I just opened 2 minutes ago.
At any rate, I am going to try to upload a picture from my Photobucket account. Wish me luck!

How come the picture doesn't show up, and I only have a link that is displayed?

This picture appeared in my brand-new account. I did not put it in there. Yet, it magically appeared in my Photobucket.com account.
I am trying to see if I can add a picture again.
In order to do so, you have to go to the "IMG Code - Forums & Bulletin Boards" and copy-and-paste the link, for anybody who may be interested.
P.S. For those who may not know who the persons are, it is Jimmy Reid and Keith McCready! LOL

When I clicked the link, it was some rock musician, I assume named "McCready," who was playing a guitar over his head! LOL!

Somebody has your account and password on there. Perhaps someone hacked into it, or into your computer. I'd change it if I were you.

It was so hot last week when we were sightseeing. My nephew, who is in the Army doing drills every day, has zero body fat and is in tip-top shape, and my brother (his dad) is an ex-Marine who does 100 pushups and situps every single day. So here we are, walking around in 100-degree heat on the Mall.
After about one hour, my gait slowed down, and I couldn't keep up with them. I began to walk 20 paces from behind, got dizzy, and had shortness of breath. My face became the color of a beet-red lobster. I guess I don't get out much, but one hour in that sweltering heat was enough for me!

Man, I don't like the fact that I cannot reduce the pixels. The above-depicted photo of the Lincoln Memorial is too large; thus, this thread is much wider, requiring one to scroll from left to right for the rest of this page on the thread to read messages. Unless you have a 40-inch-plus monitor, it sucks.
