I hope this guy Dave, whom I have never met, makes
this right and corrects the problem. He has been on the AZ site for a while and the funny thing is,
In the picture of the Porper Lathe he is selling, you can see on the above shel is a whole bunch of plastic containers with black printing on them. I sent him these, which had multiple tips for re-tipping jobs and ferrules and numerous other items that were all for working in the cue-repair industry. I had seen that he stated that he had the surgery or was it a back injury and that he was not able to work anymore in what he was doing and wanted to do cue repair work to earn a living now. So, I sent you a box or repair items, FREE of course and I even paid the shipping to him. But anyway, I thought it was funny I also was about to ship out the cue and case to the Prodigy1 guy. I guess 1 bit, twice shy!!
But all of us AZ'er I dont want us to loose our sympathy. When I was in the hospital for almost 2 years battling a blood and bone infection and I was having to sell items to afford my anti-biotics that at its worse ran, $2,000 per month, I had help from some Az'ers and in fact, I never asked for a penny, but I put some cues and related items up for sale to pay for my medications, I had a few Az'ers put up some cue items of there own and gave the proceeds to me, which has allowed me to slowly recover and slowly getting my life back to a reasonable level. Anyway, to all the good Az'ers, who are empathetic to others situations, dont loose that goodness, because it does help others out.
Thanks to all of you who have helped others out and Thanks to a great site for the Pool and Billiards World and a final note,
RIP. Danny Medina, having passed away after the battle with cancer, a great guy for the Pool World, he is up in heaven with Grady Matthews having a heck of a one-pocket game.
Take Care
