Prodigy1 - scammer???

Maybe this is too soon, but I'm curious to know if anyone is out any money from fees, etc.? If anyone here loses a cent ----> contact his local authorities.

For anyone who was not sure, prodigy1 is definitely 9cheeser.

And they are both banned.

I hope this guy Dave, whom I have never met, makes

this right and corrects the problem. He has been on the AZ site for a while and the funny thing is,

In the picture of the Porper Lathe he is selling, you can see on the above shel is a whole bunch of plastic containers with black printing on them. I sent him these, which had multiple tips for re-tipping jobs and ferrules and numerous other items that were all for working in the cue-repair industry. I had seen that he stated that he had the surgery or was it a back injury and that he was not able to work anymore in what he was doing and wanted to do cue repair work to earn a living now. So, I sent you a box or repair items, FREE of course and I even paid the shipping to him. But anyway, I thought it was funny I also was about to ship out the cue and case to the Prodigy1 guy. I guess 1 bit, twice shy!!

But all of us AZ'er I dont want us to loose our sympathy. When I was in the hospital for almost 2 years battling a blood and bone infection and I was having to sell items to afford my anti-biotics that at its worse ran, $2,000 per month, I had help from some Az'ers and in fact, I never asked for a penny, but I put some cues and related items up for sale to pay for my medications, I had a few Az'ers put up some cue items of there own and gave the proceeds to me, which has allowed me to slowly recover and slowly getting my life back to a reasonable level. Anyway, to all the good Az'ers, who are empathetic to others situations, dont loose that goodness, because it does help others out.

Thanks to all of you who have helped others out and Thanks to a great site for the Pool and Billiards World and a final note,

RIP. Danny Medina, having passed away after the battle with cancer, a great guy for the Pool World, he is up in heaven with Grady Matthews having a heck of a one-pocket game.

Take Care

Hmmm....then I take it you'll join AZB members and help us prevent this "dumb high school kid" from suspected/attempted fraud ever again, right Waybelucha? Great, let's get started. Does anyone have this person's real name and/or address? Be it from Paypal or other any other negotiations. This isn't my first time handling attempted fraud cases, theft by deception or raising awareness and drawing adverse attention to an alleged cyber thief. AZB'ers, please DO NOT delete anything related to this person(s). I'm sure you're already aware of this Waybelucha, but just in case. You don't have to physically touch someone for it to be considered attempted assault, likewise an internet post that contains a threat to do bodily harm is still a threat. Do you see where I'm coming from? Ill-intent for personal financial gain is no laughing matter.

From what i read he never stole anything. Just a dumb high school kid that thought it was funny

I have the address that the prodigy1 wanted me to ship the Cue and Case, but i dont want to post it in an open forum, I dont think that would be responsible, but if you are doing some type of action, please PM me and i can get you the name and adddress he sent me to ship the package to,

Ban me for what? In all honesty i haven't violated any forum rules. I don't have multiple user names, ive never stolen anything. Never used foul language.....kinda hard to ban someone who follows the rules. It's not like I'm sc5 using a fake name or anything. Lol

Hahaha, whatta Tool!

Hey guys, what's the safest way to buy or sell off of forums?

I've heard paypal offers buyer protection, but what does it offer in the way of seller protection? Reading threads like this makes me leery of doing online transactions, lol. As far as paper goes, USPS money orders only?

I'm likely going to be selling a couple of cues and some of my arrowhead collection soon. Just wondering what my options are.

Thanks in advance!

PayPal is buyer favorable in most cases. As a seller just make sure buyer is verified and confirmed through PayPal and only ship to the confirmed address, take pictures of packed item and always send with signature confirmation and designate that only the actual buyer be able to sign for the package and not some random person in the household and you will be all set
