I would say he's done 50 or more for me - never a complaint, always careful, always on time, always fair, always honest - and he does flawless work.

His only drawback is my incredibly high expectations of him - I've come to expect magic. Some of the cue transformations have been unbelievable.
 
ive had him do a few shafts. nothing short of spectacular. its like nothing was ever wrong.
 
I'm fortunate to live within 15 minutes of his shop. He made my everyday player and is just flat out one heck of a guy. Great work as usual good to see him getting some praise on here. He certainly deserves it.
 
Might be a silly question, but I've been calling him about some work (if he ever answers his phone it would be nice), and as I don't like calling people I have never spoken with by their first name, I was wondering if it's pronounced to rhyme with "seen", or "wine"?

It rhymes with "turbine", but please do call him Scot and call him during buusiness hours, 9 am - 5 pm Monday through Friday Eastern at (717) 478-8283. He almost always answers his phone unless he's away. He's in town and working. You can e-mail him too at sales@proficientbilliards.com.
 
Scot is a 4-star gentleman and superb craftsman. I agree with everything that has been stated here about him, and more.

Thank you for the correct pronunciation. I have been calling him during business hours, I've just had bad luck the past 2 days. I've talked with him before, and he's been very straight forward about everything I've asked him. He's even suggested NOT getting certain cues refinished because he didn't think the cost would be recouped when selling it. That alone told me of his honesty, and I have never heard anything but great reviews of his work.

I had a chance to buy a certain cue 50 times and always passed
on it due to the condition.My buddy bought it and sent it to
Scot.
I my tongue dropped to the floor when I seen it done.
It reminded me of one of those makeover shows where they turned
the ugly girl,hot.
Amazing work,couldn't find a flaw anywhere.
 
Scot just finished my 1st catalog Custom Palmer, Model 3 butt, Model 5 forearm, looks f'n amazing!

Scot had done great work for me, no complaints whatsoever.

THE FIRST TIME I DID BUSINESS WITH HIM WAS SCHOCKING

HE WORKED MY CUE FROM TOP TO BOTTOM ,
THE GUY HAD EVEN TOUCHED UP SEVERAL SECTIONS ONE BY ONE and HE DID IT BY HAND.

ON THE TELEPHONE HE TELLS ME THE CUE IS READY
THEN HE SAID CALL ME TOMORROW BECAUSE HE DIDN'T LIKE THE WAY A PARTICULAR AREA REFLECTED THE LIGHT
and HE NEEDED TO GIVE IT ONE MORE POLISH.

TALK ABOUT BEING BLOWN AWAY , NOBODY HAS THAT DEDICATION ANYMORE
