Program from 1968 US Nationals

Here is the program from the 1968 US Nationals. It was held at the San Jose Elks. The players were Bill Hynes, John Bonner, Bob Byrne, Bill Hawkins, Bob Letherby, Allen Gilbert, Bob Ameen and Homer Valdespino. The filled-out round-robin chart and pictures of all the participants are included.

The organization running the tournament was the BFUSA which later merged with the ABA to form the USBA.

Here's the program for the 1969 US Nationals. Bill Hynes won in a playoff against Allen Gilbert. Later that year, Hynes was at the US Open 14.1 in Las Vegas doing demos of 3-cushion for the spectators and giving pointers to Boston Shorty.
