Dave, if I simply believe your claim that your final aim lines go straight through the ghost ball centers in the first two shots (5 and 7 balls), then your bridge placement MUST be in two completely different places (in relation to the CB and OB locations). Your bridge must fall on the final aim lines since that's where you're pivoting, and you have two distinct aim lines since there are two different ghost ball locations.

Now, how do you get to two completely different bridge placements (in relation to the CB and OB) given supposedly the exact same "edge to eighth" alignment? How does the system tell you to place your bridge hand differently for those first two shots?

That, of course, is the key. But everyone seems to ignore it.

Aiming involved two things that are both necessary & sufficient (i.e., these two things and only these two things).

(1) recognize the line

(2) place the bridge on it.

There are 4 exact points , 2 on the cb and 2 on the ob that get me into line. I use my eyes along with experience too find these points and they get myself into the proper positioning just like Stan has "exactly" shown me how to do on the dvd. Is that considered "feel" in your eyes? if it is, then cte uses feel to get into line, in your eyes and you may call me a naysayer if it makes you sleep better at night :grin:

Exactly showing you how to do something doesn't make the system exact. That's like saying, "Iron Chef Bobby Flay told me exactly how to estimate a cup of sugar, therefore my estimations are exact". But at least you admit that there is feel in CTE.

Guy, you need to tap out now its over and you lost and you are now embarrassing yourself! I rather you give me a recipe then talk about cte. Now your almost as laughable as the certain people in this thread that stated "the geometry has already been worked out on stans cte/pro1" This has become a huge joke watching certain guys grasping at straws trying to preserve there image as a intellect discussing cte systems on this pool forum. If you want to show you have brains work together with guys that are interested in cte and use it! You have all failed on every point you have tried to make! accept it and the only thing left is to try and figure out the geometry of the system!

Wow, you must be living in some alternate dimension where insults carry more weight than an actual argument. What I stated was truth. The reason you resort to petty insults and intimidation is because any response you could possibly counter with would quite obviously be wrong.

Maybe you should get Will Hunting to help you out on this Pj :thumbup: because your pretty much out of this cte debate, since your not knowledgeable in geometry or Cte/Pro1. I will throw you bone and say maybe there is feel in the system and maybe there isnt, but who cares other than you and yoshi :thumbup:

I'll be the first to admit that CTE does not make sense to me.. I have no idea how or why it works, can't prove anything but I am definitely making a ton of shots that I used to miss with regularity.

I'm far from a total convert but find myself using it more and more each time I play.. I'm still struggling to get it to work for some shots too but maybe that will get better with time..

Not sure if that makes me a sayer or naysayer but I'm starting to get results after quite a bit of trial and error.. YMMV

What your posts make you is an honest person who is putting in the time to learn AN ACCURATE AIMING SYSTEM that is VERY EFFECTIVE.
