Psychoanalyzing "Travis Trotter"

As a person who has had 11 different pschologicals performed on me (starting at age 15 and the last being in 1998) :) I feel although I am not a Psycologist or Psychiatrist, I am at least somewhat qualified to give an "armchair" analyisis on one of the great members of our forum, "Travis Trotter". I say great because he has brought me hundreds of moments where I laughed out loud, smiled a lot and shook my head often.

Here is a person who is always polite and friendly, never nasty or obusive, and who is apparently, very kind hearted and thoughtful.
I am convinced that the name "Travis Trotter" is a pseudonym that someone on our forum uses, sort of an alter-ego poster. Even though it would be against forum rules to have one member with two poster names, I somehow think this is the case. Travis has been "in character" for an aweful long time, and a very smooth one at that.

I have a couple of links for your persusal. The first one is a link to all the threads started by Travis. Notice that he very much enjoys keeping us abreast and up to date with happenings in his life. He announces ahead of time on threads that he will be visiting the forums on such and such a day. He announces his own birthday a week in advance. He starts new threads to procalim that he "won a good game of 8 ball today" or "I got a deer today" or that he "won two games of 9 ball today."

Travis also has a thoughtful and soft side, as evidenced in his keeping us informed of current events and especially when a person of note dies.
He has announced the deaths of people like Porter Wagoner and Ruth Graham but did not neglect to let us know that Barbaro was dead on the day that he died.

Here is a link to the threads he has started....

I have always enjoyed Travis Trotter posts and have mentioned that numerous times. I have given him positive rep and wished him the happiest of birthdays. I hope he does not take offence to this thread, as it's meant to bring him to the attention of other posters here who may not yet know the genius that is Travis Trotter.

Others here have also enjoyed Travis. Here is a link by one of my favorite members here, Joey A that contains some very humorous posts, one of which I am the proud author of.:D

In another thread, I posted about doing a ZabbaSearch on people named "Travis Trotter" living in the USA and found 65 listings! But OUR Travis still is an enigma. We know he is loyal (CueTec), opinionated (Earl), thoughtful (I'm moving to North Dakota), informative (Barbaro) and gentle spirited, as evidenced in the thread where he said he needed to take a week of to think of some things before he posted again.

I previously posted that I thought Travis Trotter was a young kid with a tube of Oxy5 in his pocket and homework due on the dinner table. But I think I was wrong. This aspiring pro player is a benevolent gentleman who enjoys the role he plays. He likes to come off just another dim-witted pool player, but if you look closely, and read the meaning between the lines, you too will see and appreciate the genius that is "Travis Trotter."

PS-The only reason I know that genius is spelled genius and not genious is that the "scrabble-king" Doug Smorgessbored :) kindly corrected me on one of my previous posts when I proclaimed "I can't prove I'm a genious, but you can't prove I'm not!"
:D :D

I find his post light hearted and yet anoying at times. But I try not to judge anyone anymore. I have learned that the persona conveyed behind the screen is sometimes totally different in person. Good or bad. If what he does takes his game to the pro level (even witha cuetec) then more power to him. Just my thoughts!

He announced on another thread that he would be making an appearance here on Sunday and so far, he's a now show.

My wife is not home yet, the house is cleaned and I'm saving my latest Accu-Stat to watch since I'm off work tomorrow.

Killing time with some soft-core humor until Travis shows up....
