Agree 100%. And i'm good with that.
True. I'll argue the theory of how to do it, but I don't want it to happen. I want some places to play, some cool people to compete against, not much else.

Man I'd like to gamble with these guys....hard to think they'd be nits.Joe Rogan and Manny Pacquiao come to mind
Eric: I can't resist observing that the second line seems to be contradicted by the first oneI sold my house 704 N Arden 90210 for 12.7 last year. I turned down 15 for it in 2016
I know BH property real well,
Joe is a very normal guy who will gamble for nominal amounts of money. Manny on the other hand will bet as high as you can count! And you might not like it either.Man I'd like to gamble with these guys....hard to think they'd be nits.
My sister is married to Art's son Audie (named after Art's good friend Audie Murphy). Has been for about 25 years now. I first met Art in the late 90's at his home in Tarzana. He had an 8' table in his game room and claimed to be a good player who no one could beat. My sister told him that I used to be a pro and of course he challenged me.......to play Eight Ball for the grand sum of $5 a game. After a few games, all easy wins for me, Art got a little testy and told me he had a friend who could beat me easily. Okay why not, I'm already there and there's lots of good food. Maybe 30 minutes later in walks one of the Sardo brothers (the guys who brought us the Sardo rack). He knew me of course and just smiled and said hello. Art insisted he play me so we went through the motions and I had to beat him a few games as well. Art didn't talk to me anymore after that. He was a tough old guy and I kind of liked him anyway. He did shake my hand before we left. Check out his history. He was one great prizefighter! There are two players of notoriety that I played in the 60's at the old Brunswick Billiard Academy (4th and main LA.) The first was Henry Ringling North who along with his brother owned the Ringling Bros Circus. Henry was the advance man. He had a 3C game with the owner Romie Yanez and Romie had a problem that morning and I got to fill in. He was dressed to the 9s and had two Afghan Hounds with him and a Rolls Royce which dropped him off and picked him up. My prize after playing????? Of course, two tickets to the circus 1968.
The second was a LA Boxer called "The Golden Boy." His name was Art Aragon. He was a great fighter in the late 1940's until about 1955. Always a runner up but still a great fighter and nice guy. We played snooker for $3/game and he never could remember how much he lost as by 1966 he was already stricken with dementia. He owned a Bail Bonds service and his wife would drop him off and pick him up. He always gave me $20 and paid the time and regardless of how much he lost (but how he came up with $20 when we played for $3 is still confusing) and just being around him was great just listening to his fighter days.
Imagine, play both king of the hill, $1000 a rack.Joe is a very normal guy who will gamble for nominal amounts of money. Manny on the other hand will bet as high as you can count! And you might not like it either.
