Here are a few old purpleheart cues.

Top to bottom: 1950's Hoppe Pro, 1960's Hoppe Pro, 1920's-30's Model 26 1/2, 1933 Model 26 1/2 2-piece (Berger Style). Top one is original condition (unrestored), next one is refinished, 3rd one is refinished, bottom one has not been touched, so you can see the effect of 74 years on the finish - it is nice and purple under the rubber bumper!
