puting together a list

If I were to start a collection of "sneaky petes" what would be some of the names I'd have to have on my list? I was thinking this would be a good way to collect different high end makers without going broke. If anyone else just colects sneakys I'd love to hear from you. I was thinking in no particular order: Murray Tucker, White, Mottey, Schick, Cantando, Scruggs Runde, ...suggestions please:)

Thanks
Andy

sneakys

Ariel Carmeli, Kerry Zeiler, Bluegrass, Bob Frey, Kikel (if possible), Bender (if possible), Nitti (if possible),

Josey.

Keith Josey for sure for hit, looks, fit and finnish. he makes the best all around custom sneakys period.

Sneaky pete collecting can be spendy, I would second the Bender suggestion. Kers. would be a nicer find, I offered Dr. Wu a ridiculous amount for his a while back, to no avail though. If you do start one I will exchange pics with you, I have quite the collection now.

I here ya Mike. A Kercsh is way up on the list, I don't plan on spending that kinda cash. Bender, Bluegrass and maybe a Zeiler. Joseys are a little over done for my taste, at least the ones I've seen. Missed a purple heart Martinez awhile back would like to find that one again. I figure a K a year or so just depending. Obviously some or gonna cost more, I think the Schick I saw was 1500.

Ed Prewitt, Ned Morris, Pete Tascarella, and Dennis Searing.

Andy Gilbert.....think he's only done about 5 actual bar cue conversions or you could have him build you a sneaky pete looking players cue using his own prongs/handle. Inexpensive, too.

i was a player before i was a designer. besides it's the truth. Keith makes some of the most well and consistent playing cues in the world and his fit and finish techniques are also up there with the best. coupled with the fact that no one makes custom sneaky's like him so this and the attention to detail embellish on this also and makes this posters ? a no brainer.

Sounds like my kind of list, Im actually going to start collecting Sneaky Petes and Plain cues myself. I currently have my Frey and I have a Bloodwood sneay on order with Mike (Jazzn444) from www.primocustomcues.com

A friend of mine is selling a Mike Lambros sneaky pete. It plays extremely well too!!!

I shoot with a Wayne Gunn Sneaky. I also have a Dufferin SP that was a decent Cue, a bit butt heavy. I won it off a guy playing 8-Ball. It was his break stick, the shaft was a bit out, so I took the hacksaw to it, and made myself a Jump Cue that would fit in my case at the time, this was that late 80's.

An A-Z member donated a Players SP to our local Senoir center, when I was on a donation drive. It plays very well for fair priced Cue.:)
