Since you obviously still don't understand what we have been talking about, I won't bother trying to explain it again.
If you can't tell the difference between facts and opinions, than I can't help you
You spouted an opinion, then tried to back it up with "facts" from a "test" that proves very little. All of which is totally non-relevant to the original question, since it's obvious the OP likes predator shafts.

I'm not saying you are lying.

Previouly, you told us you do not play with a low deflection shaft.
Now you claim you do?

Ok man, it's obvious that you struggle with English... If you could read very well, you would know that two key words in my statement show that it was something that I used to use...

I have alot of experience using low deflection and standard maple shafts, as i have stated 50 times now

this thread changed from the OP's intent when so many people began making untrue statements about Predators and other low deflection shafts.

Maybe you missed it.

BPG24,

Mason, Sheldon and Joey are all knowledgable cuemaker. I think you are the only one that who do not understand what they are talking about..

None of them have proven that the tests are not accurate. Again, please learn to understand English, you are really annoying

Why do you idiots have to reply to me?

Hey, you know what?!...It is not necessary to become insulting!!! If you are having an issue with replies, and cannot be diplomatic about it, then keep it to yourself...but I can tell you right here and now, that insults and poor behavior will not be tolerated.

The way I see it....you have some pretty good fun fueling the fire, right along with the rest of us...in fact, if I went back and did a post count, I would bet you are the dominating poster to this thread.

There is absolutely no excuse for the insults, and it should discontinue post-haste.

You are on a an internet forum where there is a great deal of exchanging of ideas...or opinions, as you would have it. You came into this thread making demands that someone 'prove' something to you. News Flash! No one here owes you a darn thing....if you didn't like the fact that it wasn't going to go the way you would have liked it...then you had/have every option of bowing out gracefully. But do not presume that since you have been tolerated thus far, that it will continue if you continue to throw insults about.

KNOCK IT OFF!

Well Lisa,
maybe you missed it, but he continually is not understanding what he is reading and it's really annoying. I aske nicely twice before for him to stop replying to me. That didn't work. he has also accused me of bashing cuemakers which couldn't be farther from the truth.

He also insulted a cuemaker on this thread just a few pages back, why don't you jump on him about that?
Maybe because you agree with his opinion...

If you can't prove the tests wrong then just admit it and move on...

Thanks

Funny how judgemental some of you are based on what side ot the fence you are on...

Opinions don't matter, I know some of you have trouble understanding that.
If you can't prove the facts wrong than please just admit it like any other normal adult would do and move on.

When people continually tell me that I am wrong and refuse to provide proof, of course I am going to respond. Many of them are arguing just to argue.

That would get anyones post count up in any thread, what is sad is that you actually counted them...

I'll opine that changing butts won't affect/change the hit/play of a predator
shaft to a great degree.

adam========>experimented!!!!!!!!!!!!

By my testing this is basically true... You won't see a ton of difference

I have played with 314's on these pins

3/8-10
3/8-11
5/16-14
5/16-18
unilock/quickrelease
radial
G-10
Homemade pin from Home Depot

the one that did stand out to me was the Unilock/quickrelease, it felt different IMO.. No facts to back it up just opinion from playing with them.
Changing tips, shaft taper, ferrule etc will change the hit IMO

ill tell you what i did a few 1st gen 314's

but

when i was cutting the ferrule off of the 314 2 i was suprised what i saw. how it was constructed the depth of the bore and the fact there was no foam and how the ferrule was glued

after seeing that it made sense why it felt dead

i took a 1.25'' full ivory ferrule ( which comes slightly longer)
cut a tenon .850 in length and put that into the shaft. made the a ferrule .750 orig .600 on the 314 2

in other words i have almosy a 1 in tenon into the shaft to fill that long bore.

plays 1,000,000% better still very stiff with alot of feel
How is it better?
The Cueball Squirt Police are cringing.

if she is a moderator, she should learn to be more subjective.

Getting on me for doing to someone what they did to someone else is ridiculous at best

How much I post is really no ones business but mine... Surely you can understand that

If you read my post I was not knocking you for your post i just thought it was a lot. I never said it was bad. Its not its good you can spend that much time here. Wish I could spend more time here as well. Dont jump the gun and get defensive over a simple statement. Dont read anything into it it was just that, a statement. :)

I apologize,

everyone else that has made that statement to me has used it in a negative light. Hard to tell sometimes online, especially since so many people seem to judge someone based on how much they post

Not to mention all the negativity I have already recieved in this thread...

LOL

yes, I usually say when something I post is an opinion. So many people struggle to tell which is which, I feel like I have to

It does get funny around here sometimes and sometimes we all need to step back and laugh. Thats what I do. I go look in the mirror and bust out laughing at whats staring back at me! :):)

not sure i understand the ? simple as it was but ill try

maybe i got a bad shaft. u know some prob play better than others. i had that blank hand picked for me. my criteria wasnt too tough. i said weigh the 2 dozen or so blanks and give me the heaviest one.

at 12.65 this shaft weight is 4.2 oz. pretty good. thats how i got my
314 1's and never had a bad one.

it feels better bc it feels peroid. before it was so dead. couldnt feel the qball. i went from placing it within inches to feet. that immed changed with ivory. it still goes where i want it to go.

i also made a maple shaft with ivory ferrule at the same time for my cue and i have a hard time pocketing a ball with english bc it doesnt go where i think it should.

ivory ferrule didnt change the squirt that much and if at all. its solid ivory no wood tenon

Nope, RD, not a moderator...wouldn't want that job, it is pretty thankless.

However, with that said...I have been around here long enough to know what is acceptable behavior, and what is not. I'm guessing that "Why do you idiots have to reply to me?" is probably not.

I do not understand why there cannot be an exchange of differing opinions without it resorting to name-calling and insults.
