QB Custom Cue in the Works - Ebony on Ebony with Flame Veneers

Cue is getting close to done. Over a year in the works but well worth the wait. Check it out and of course my little guy has grown some. :)

That is a great looking cue by the way.

It's still not as handsome as the young ladd,
but it's a mighty fine looking cue. I saw some
of the pics on facebook and it's very impressive.
Did you come up with the design or did you guys
collaborate on it?

I came up with suit design and QB came up with the dot and line design between the suits. I picked out the veneer colors and QB arranged them so it would pop. I sent the ring design that I found somewhere and really liked.

I think its a gambler cue on the sleek and classy side. I didn't want something cheesy as I have seen some gamblers that are a bit overdone. This one will be a classic I think. Very excited to break it in and get comfortable with it.

Looks like the vision both of you guys had, has came
together nicely.....that cue is hot, not cheesy.
 
QB cues

I recently acquired a QB bacote-curly-bacote merry widow cue. Wow!! Very impressive from the first shot. Very lively with great feel. Lenny, looking forward to hear how your new masterpiece plays. Folks, these are great cues and Ken(aka Qball) is a helluva nice guy to boot.
 
Full pictures coming soon as it should be to me this week. Super excited to get a little table time with it before I head off to the Wyoming Open. Ken is a heck of a nice guy and stand up too so if you want a top notch cue get in touch with him.

I find a lot of gambler theme cues to be tacky................I love this one :)

Well here are the final pics and they don't do the cue justice. Ken is finishing up the joint protectors still so its got some delrins on it. This cue hits solid and I am blown away by it, felt like a kid on Christmas and perhaps better then any Christmas as a kid I have had, haha. It is 60 inch, great balance and G10 pin, all white is ivory and solid ivory joint along with silver inlays throughout. I think this might be my lifer cue. :grin:
