1st annual Qlympics
the pro divisions of the first annual qlympics kicked off monday Nov. 5th with the US open 1 pocket.. The field is a whos who of the 1 pocket world! the list consists the names of ,Jason Miller,Shannon"The Cannon" Daulton,Tony"Trex"Chohan, Shawn Putnam, Mark Jarvis and John Broumbeck just to name a few. the action started at 3 pm with everyone wondering if Tony Chohan would be there for the 1 pocket? And in strolls Trex, in his 1st round match Tony drew Richard Harris owner of Blue Grass Cues. This was a great match to sweat, Harris opened up with a break shot pockting a ball and running 5 on trex.Tony did his best but Harris put him down 1 game, Tony played right back at him with a great break and hide, Harris gave him an edge and Trex went 8 and out to evan the match at 1 to 1! Harris the wins the next rack to go up 2 to 1. Trex then hits a gear and goes on to win the match 4 to 2!round 2 action had Shannon murphy defeating Louis Ullrich 4-2, Shannon Daulton beat Ike Runnels 4-0! Shawn Putnam had a long battle with John Broughmbeck that had John coming out on top 4-3.Shannon Daulton Handed Brian Gregg his first lose with a 4-0 victory! Gabe Owen sent Dee Atkins to the 1 lose side with a 4-2 lose.3rd round keys are trex vs bartrum and rafeal martinez vs john broughmbeck!
