Qlympics Video Report on TAR

We put together a video report for the first few days of the event. The pro events start tomorrow. So far it has been BCA singles and doubles events. In the report we take a look around the venue and I interview Louis Ulrich about the year he has been having.


We are going to tape the finals of the mens masters 8 Ball tonight. Louis Ulrich vs. Dee Adkins. That should be up late tonight.

It is well worth the trouble, the quality is amazing.
 
hi-i downloaded the divx,went to tar and tried to run it.it took some time buffering and when it started it ran for about a minute and stopped and had to rebuffer.went like that,off and on,for about 3 minutes and looked up. help
 
help-when i get on tar it runs and stops i installed divx.

If you have a slow connection it will give you trouble. What is your download speed?
 
Great stuff J. Again youve hit the top. THe only problem is you have to buffer it up for every use. I can take a shower and cook dinner and it still wont finish. But once its downloaded its great.
When are we going to be able to pay for the PPV for Harriman/Schmidt match? I hope you also run some action matches as well.
And dude more of that Sunny. SHe is fine.

Thanks man. The buffering is a pain. If anyone knows a site I can upload long videos to, that looks good let me know. YouTube has a 10 min limit. Google is just a pain in my ass.

Sunny had to go back to work, she will be back next weekend.

Edit: Is everyone having buffering issues ????? Seemed to work ok for the AC1 video. If it is a problem for the majority I will find a new way.

I can get it buffered in about 10 minutes on DSL but get an error after about 5 minutes of watching, then smoke starts coming out of my computer with loud noises and sparks flying , of course 'ol faithful here is about 114 years old in computer years so that might have something to do with it. :(

Thanks for the kind words. That video thing is much harder than I thought. I now have new found "HUGE ASS RESPECT" for Justin and Chad for being able to act natural on the camera. How ironic it was, I tried hardest to "act - myself"...
Backt to work/reality this morning but I had so much fun, I can't wait to go back on Friday.:D

Sunny is beautiful and has a pleasent personality and demeanor as well. Hopefully we will see more of her:). Nice job, Sunny!

Thanks. I spent most of my time there hanging out at the Action Room. No action matches yet, but pro players often stopped in to show off their stuff for the camera table. And I was lucky when Shawn Putnam walked in and just start SCHOOLING some (pro) players on One Pocket! Whom I won't meantion their names:p Until I watched Shawn play, I thought one pocket was pretty boring but Shawn managed to make it exciting. It was one part trick shots and two parts just NASTY!
The whole room just ooowed and ahhhed. And gues what? All of it was captured on tape! YES! It will be available after Justin edits it too. (Oh sorry Justin, I'm volunteering you for more work) And did I meantion it's FREE?:eek:
I had to leave early and I later heard that one pocket session turned into straight up trick shot madness. Oh, Justin, I know that you haven't slept descent in 6 days, but please, put that clip up SOOOON:D

Excellent Job Sunny!!! I'm going to try to make it up next weekend and will get my camera ready for you to snap som1e shots with. (and yes, I saw me on the video -- too funny!!!)

Yes... exactly as described above (this is with my broadband connection).

Thanks for the coverage though. There is not much else in terms of coverage right now for this event, especially with the WPC.

I've seen videos much longer than 10 minutes on youtube. For example this one is 24 minutes

There was a 75 minute UK video posted that took the opposing view from Al Gore on global warming, but it kept getting pulled for copyright violation.


I don't have buffering problems, really fast connection
