i need to know if the slates for a gc4 are the same as the gc3 in overall
length and width when they are together on the bed.

a guy i know opened a room buying 3's and one gc4. now i played on the gc4 and the shelf in the pocket is short, very short.

he has the pocket size at 4'' and i was makin balls from all over. figuring
this ain't right i noticed the short shelf and i am wondering if he used the
wrong slates

does anyone have feedback on the 3's vs 4's specs ?

would appreciate it and would like to know for sure before i tell him
what he has done.

when the pocket is closed the shelf appears smaller even if it is the same depth.

True True you need to extend the slate shelf to make it play tougher like a Diamond.. 1/2"to 3/4" should be plenty deep enough take some measurements and see what you like you might find it only needs 3/8-1/2" added on to give you back a shelf for the balls to rest on. Remember if you extend the shelf you should extend the wood underneath or it makes it tougher for the average installer to install bed cloth on to.

BUT my main question still is ,

are the slates exactly the same in all dimentions.?
