Question about cloth fading

Guys,

I am dropping off my Diamond rails at the factory today to get the cushions redone to procut specs. They also asked if I wanted them to go ahead and cover the cushions with simonis. I would think it would be best to have them go ahead and do it, making less work for a mechanic when I get the table installed. Here is my question,

I won't be getting the table installed for 4-6 months. Should I worry about the cloth on the rails fading any from light?

Thanks in advance,
Ian

Nah, not unless it's in direct sunlight. If there's a slight difference in dye lots or some minor fading your eye just thinks it's because of the angles and the way the light is reflected.

No worries.
Box or wrap the rails in a blanket for protection until ready for the setup.

another thing to consider, Diamond rails aren't easy to recover, does your mechanic have experience with these rails

Be sure to pick up the bed cloth that the rail cloth is taken from to recover your rails, then you have the rest of the cloth...matching;)
