Question about Fury cues!

Everyone knows their j/b's perform pretty good but i was wondering about their playing cues, and how they hit.

Anyone own a Fury player that can give an honest review on their hit and performance, and what cues that it compares to?

Someone told me once that all tips on the cues were phenolic, even their playing cues, can someone confirm or deny this?

Thanks.

All Fury tips are not phenolic...thats pure bs. They are Chinas best quality as Mr. Barton see's to that. If you want one...get the RP series with the Radial pin...pretty much their finest offering.

I played with one and it hit ok,not too bad considering how inexpensive it was.I presently shoot with a Stealth cue, they are known for their jump cues but this cue plays nicely for being a cue that is under $200.I would say the hit of the cue is close to a Joss cue,im sure some people will disagree but that is how my Stealth hits, the Fury is closer to a hit of a Lucasi IMO.

im plenty happy with my predator sneaky, i was just curious to see what people's opinions were.

if i ever come across 700 bucks i will be knocking on your door mr. varney :)

till then im happy with my beat up baby.

I had a fury before I got my pred sneaky. The stock tip was a triangle and the cue was a solid performer for an entry cue. I have a few friends with entry level lucasi's and they play very very similarly.

I agree with Kevin's assessment. I have used a Fury RP for about 5 years and have been very happy with it. The only change I made to mine was the wrap....I hate the wrap with that gold flake in it. Nice hit and feel with the radial pin wood-to-wood joint. Triangle tip.

I won my first WPBA title with a Fury NR!!!! A very nice cue for the price, take a look at the DL or LL series for great value for money.

They certainly are not all Phenolic, but, all Asian tips seem to be pretty Hard. Hey, I got it contact MR. Varney or Mr. Barton I bet one of them will change that tip for you.;)

The tips used on Fury cue are Tweeten Fiber's Le Pro or Triangle tips. Tweeten tips are made in Chicago, IL. Starting with the coming production cycle each Fury cue will be made using a Tiger Sniper laminated tip. Tiger Tips are manufactured in California.

Most players who try Fury cues at tournaments seem to like the hit right away.

I currently play with a standard LE Pro on one of my Fury cues, Moori's on another of my Fury cues, and a Black Diamond on another. I like all three.

I've owned a Fury DL-4 since 2005(i think) that I got on sale for around $80. It plays great and has a nice solid hit and great sound. It is still straight and I still use it on weekends as my "bar" cue. (Current tip - Moori Med w/ carbon fiber pad)
