If I needed some I would buy the sheet stock, program two circles on the CNC, one for OD, one for ID, and then cut them. Why use a punch? We do this all the time.

Bingo. A punch press equals a fail when making rings.
 
These are rings I cut on Friday for an old Huebler. It is easier and way cheaper than a punch press.

Is that tube welded. It almost looks like a weld on the whole tude pic but I do not see a weld seem on the ring.

thanks lee. im sure there will be a big market for these. seems like may many ppl are looking for them

ive also looked into punching them but i cant find the punch. no cnc sry
