Thanks for your interest in the book. It is true we have been collaborating on producing Keith's story, and it's been a work in progress for some time now. We are both devoted to making this the best read that it can be, and it's been fun collecting data, hearing stories by word of mouth as well as reading older pool periodicals from days gone by.
Getting it down in print, though, has been slow-going due to Keith's tournament schedule, my work responsibilities, and a loss of enthusiasm [mostly on my end] because of a "climate," for lack of a better word, which directly impacted our pool world. Sometimes it's like two steps forward and one step backwards, and personally, I struggle a great deal with some subject matters. Keith, on the other hand, is trying to pull out all the punches!
On a good note, because of a recent happening which affected Keith financially and personally, he will be devoting more time to writing for himself in an effort to bring this baby to a close. It is my deepest hope that his book will be attractive to your "Uncle Chester" and "Aunt Dorothy," those who know nothing about pool, and, of course, to those who know everything about pool.
There is not, and never will be, another book like this one because there is not, and will never be, another
