Question for old timers@

View attachment 899199$1.50 for a whole box of tips. Oh yes, times have changed... I have never tried Royal Oak, anyone here use them? Thoughts?
I have not had good luck with Royal Oak.
I love the box and the price.
The tips I have purchased were for house cues in places that don't care.
Some worked out but at least half, seemed to soft.
Dusty when being worked on the lathe and even when weted were grabbing the cutter and tearing.
It could have been the batch?

They look cheap. No reason to try, given the time & effort it takes to tip cues.
