Freddie, you briefly mentioned him in "GosPool". If he is the red headed Mexican pool player I am thinking of, I saw him play one time at The Golden Cue outside of Los Angeles around 1979/80. I ran a 9 Ball tournament there every Weds night and we would get various players coming through. He was with a Mexican guy named Leon from Odessa, Texas, who would come around from time to time and play "Archie The Greek", who hung around the room at that time. Doc Brienza also showed up that night, the recent winner of a 9 Ball tournament in Orange County against lots of top players. He matched up with Cannela and got drilled. I asked Leon what they were doing in LA and he told me they were going to try and get some weight from Keith at Hard Times, Costa Mesa and bet it up. I don't think the game ever came off. Leon moved around pretty good, so I figured this guy could play. I never heard much more about this guy and am wondering if he made it back to Chicago or you or anybody else have any stories about him. John
