A few years ago on here I predicted that we would start seeing more and more 7-foot tables in poolrooms and large sports bars. Can someone connected with Diamond tell us if they sell more 7-footers to poolrooms and large poolroom/sports bars (like over 8 tables) than 9-footers yet? Thank you.

Any one from any of the other major table companies please feel free to answer this too. Thank you. Johnnyt

Bar tables have always out sold pool room tables, as there are far more bars/pubs/taverns in this country than there is Pool Halls:wink:

Thank you Glen. Is there anyway to check, or maybe you know to see if the tide has started to change where poolrooms are ordering more 7-footers than 9-footers? Johnnyt
 
The room here went from 9, 9 ft tables to 4 or 5, and replaced them with 7 ft'rs.

I don't know the numbers for sure as I don't go there much... he keeps it cold in there (which I don't mind much) but there's dirt an 1/8 of an inch deep under the cushions. An hours play (2 weeks ago) leaves hands and clothes filthy and a gritty feeling in the nose and mouth. Centennials grimey with a ball polishing machine sitting right there on the counter and one piece of chalk with the balls and it was worn so bad I couldn't use it without getting chalk clear down on the shaft! Luckily I brought my own chalk.

It's a dammed shame to treat brand new GC's that way and that's the way it's been since day one. Very little care... and he's a one-pocket player. I just can't understand it. Rant over.
