Why did Atlas double the price on they're radial pin taps and they have none in stock?
I already have one but just out of curiosity. Same with the diamond wood prices. I understand the factory burned down but man talk about scalping.

Because everyone else is out of stock. Every time I notice someone is out of something I also notice atlas raises their price to outrageous. Seems like its normal operating procedure. Just saying....

They do have great pricing on certain items but their shipping method $ucks big time.

I think he is referring to the 5$ packaging fee. If you place the order over the phone and you are polite and order 100$ or more worth of stuff they usually wave the fee. Since I live in indiana they shipping is super fast like next day. They have good shipping and never fupped my order but I gauging is a little bs but I guess anyone in their position would do the same.

??

I have received everything I have ordered from them............

I meant the cost of shipping and etc. Their item pricing is very competitive or should I say 1 of the cheapest but sadly, shipping methods and pricing ain't flexible. :(

Why do some people pretend to be asking a question when they are in fact just
*****ing about something they don't like?

I would be thinking that the company making the taps is charging what it really costs to make such special taps.
Just my take.

question

They would be buying the radial tap from Uni-loc so maybe they raised the pricing.

If you have ever shipped a lot of items, you might understand the 5.00 charge. Boxes and tape and padding have gone up. Besides you have to pay the person pulling the order, putting it in the box and then doing the paper work. They could put all that in the prices, but a lot of their items seem to be really low margin

Besides, they have to buy the Doodles.

It's the cost of doing business.... if you don't pass those costs on to the customer, you go out of business.....

On small orders from Atlas, the shipping and handling is a very large portion of the price. On larger orders it's not noticeable.
