I have 2 older Falcon cues, both are straight as an arrow. I bought a predator 314 shaft that is also straight. When I put the 314 shaft on one Falcon butt, it rolls perfectly straight, but when I put it on my other Falcon butt, the cue does not roll straight at all. Anyone know why that would be?

The forearm may have a warp, or the joint facing needs to be redone. Roll the butt on a pooltable and see if the nose of the forearm lifts as you roll it...if it does, it's warped. If it's straight, then have a repair guy/gal re-face the butt side of the joint, should fix it.

Thanks for reply.

No warp on butt, so I guess it's the butt side joint. Odd how the butt and factory shaft roll straight tho.

Just a guess but your Joint on the falcon is not faced flush.

I can switch the factory shafts between the 2 Falcon butts and they will both roll straight, but when using the 314 shaft, it rolls straight on one butt and warped on the other

here is a pic of joints:

Every combination will roll straight with the exception of the 314 and butt with silver ring.

I am guessing it has to do with the brass pilots on the shafts being different.
